Hell Yeah is an enjoyable 2D sidescroller that waxes nostalgic about classic games just as much as it establishes its own identity as a "how-to" guide to murdering monsters in ridiculous ways.

I love Arkedo: For five years they keep doing what they love most – and that is goofy arcade games, in this case a ludicrous 2D-platformer with a high amount of cartoony violence.

Its controls aren't quite as precise as we'd like for a platformer, and the old-school difficulty can be occasionally punishing, but those gripes aside, Hell yeah's a twisted trip worth taking. [Dec 2012, p.86]

A fun game that will keep you playing for a long time - if you don't mind the sometimes clumsy controls though.

If you enjoy impish cartoon worlds that mask their pristine internal consistency under a measured low brow, and you can put up with falling in a pit occasionally and having to go back to a checkpoint, then Hell Yeah: Wrath of the Dead Rabbit is probably exactly the game about Hell that you've always wanted.

Hell Yeah! is driven by the absurd. It is something many players will find as a fresh experience, and something some others will find random and stupid. The gameplay is not enough polished, but if you're willing to forgive this and willing to spend a long and crazy while in front of the TV, we beg you to give this a try.

Prince Ash's underworld is a sadistic delight. [Christmas 2012, p.97]

With Halloween just around the corner, the folks at the PSN have served up their annual helping of blood curdling gruesomeness in the form of Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit.

It is a platformer by legends of the genre Sega and it done with their usual flair and confidence. The gameplay is addictive and enjoyable and there is enough variation and surprises that you will feel inclined to 'another 5 minutes' quite often.

The game is stylish and very easy on the eye the boss battles are well done and overall the game is a nice easy distraction after a session on FIFA 13 or a heavy RPG.

    Well worth a look.

Lamentablemente. Full Review »
