    Giocato e finito nel 2022.
    Bella trama, ottimo colpo di scena finale.
    Sistema di controllo che risulta (ovviamente) datato, e sistema di selezione delle scelte a volte non molto chiara. Doppiaggi a volte così così.
    Premio l'originalità del gioco, e il buon livello di coinvolgimento che garantisce.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. man, i feel that this is the best game i have played so far with metal gear solid 3, the graphics were great for the time, nowadays they are acceptable the combat system gets a little repetitive but it's ok because it's according to the game the characters are developed in a satisfactory way, the story is VERY GOOD, the characters are different and not generic as cof cof (mcsm) but something that I did not like so much was that rare gameplay with the perspective of the camera, you can "wrong" and go in the opposite direction, the endings are varied and there are very good as others very murky,… Expand

    Ambitious but limited game trying to be a movie and ending up as a joke. The cascade of choices is an illusion for most of the game, pushing the protagonists onwards on rails to move the plot forward. It's a rip off of Se7en just with lots of plot holes.

    Generell ist es bei solchen Spielen so, dass sich die Gameplayelemente auf ein Untersuchen der Umgebung, eine Dialogmechanik und im Falle von Quantic Dream Titeln, das Absolvieren von Quick Time Events beschränken. Das mag auf manche eher wie ein interaktiver Film wirken, der besondere Clou ist jedoch, dass die erzählten Geschichten eben in der Regel nicht linear verlaufen, sondern dass der Spieler Einfluss auf diese nimmt. Das mag sich am Verhalten in Dialogen aufhängen. Das mag daran liegen, wie viele Informationen wir in der Umgebung gesammelt haben. Oder es ist abhängig davon, ob wir Quick Time Events bestehen konnten oder eben auch nicht. Resultat ist, dass wir einen individuellen Weg in der Geschichte gehen werden. Und egal wie wir uns nun verhalten haben, wir werden in einem Durchlauf nie alle Szenen und Möglichkeiten, die das Spiel uns bietet, sehen können. Hierin liegt dann auch der Wiederspielwert solcher Titel verborgen. Vielleicht sehen wir bei einem zweiten Durchlauf völlig andere Szenen, weil wir uns anders entschieden haben, oder eine Information finden konnten, die uns beim ersten Durchlauf noch fehlte.

    Heavy Rain erzählt seine Geschichte aus der Perspektive von vier unterschiedlichen Protagonisten, die wir alle zeitweise steuern können. So ist Heavy Rain eine Detektivgeschichte, ein Kriminalthriller und ein persönliches Psychodrama in einem. Erzählerisch bewegt sich Quantic Dream daher auf einem, nicht nur für Videospiele, extrem hohen Niveau und transportiert eine Atmosphäre, die an manche Hitchcock oder auch David Fincher Filme erinnert. Dass die Steuerung nicht mehr zeitgemäß ist und es vor allem zu Beginn eher langweilige, einführende Passagen gibt, davon sollte man sich nicht abschrecken lassen. Mit Heavy Rain spielt man letztlich eine unglaublich dichte und tief gehende Geschichte, die ihren besonderen Reiz darin findet, dass sie sich letztlich so erzählt, wie wir sie auch spielen. Hinsichtlich Präsentation, grafischer Qualität und Regie setzen Quantic Dream Spiele seit jeher Maßstäbe. Auch das trägt sicherlich dazu bei, dass die Erfahrungen, die wir in Heavy Rain machen, uns tatsächlich auch sehr nahe gehen können. Quantic Dream Spiele sind immer etwas besonderes, etwas, das einen als Spieler wirklich bewegen kann. Statt Netflix anzuwerfen, kann man Netflix auch einfach einmal spielen.     The story of this game is one of the best in video games. The characters are all great and the scenarios the player is placed in are all superb. The choices you make in this game have very big consequences which adds to the tension of the game. The controls are the main flaw as sometimes they are weirdly angled.

    This game was a revelation for me at the time.

    I was just starting to play on consoles then, and I could not imagine that such sensations could be from the game.

    I directly felt in the body of the protagonist and experienced all the events with him. Amazing gameplay and amazing story, great cinematography in its time.

    This game is definitely a masterpiece.

    This game is simply perfect mainly because of its creative plot, the character development is incredible and personally I had a great time playing it. It's such a good story and so creepy. I highly recommend it to this day it will be a masterpiece

    Si juegas este juego sabiendo a lo que vas, es absolutamente disfrutable. Obviamente, la narrativa tiene mucho peso, pero está tan bien desarrollada que hace que el juego sea realmente divertido. No por sus mecánicas de quicktime events, sino por lo entretenida que es su trama y cómo podemos influir en ella con distintas acciones y decisiones. Duración aproximada: 10 horas

    Dark crime driven story with plot twists emotional moments and nice interactive gameplay, it was maybe the first time I see such an interactive game turns to be a triple A especially the graphics was great as a 2010 PS3 game

    After some time, finally a game that thrilled me with its story. The story is completely complex and will make you think about all your decisions. I stopped the game a few times just to think hard about my decision.

    Gameplay was done in such a way that it more resembled an interactive movie than a game. Although I must say that in Scott's part, opening the fridge was sometimes a daunting task.

    I also appreciate the "Move" version of the game. Unfortunately, I do not have the necessary equipment to try this mode.

    I also like that the game has a very large number of endings to the story.

    I can only recommend this game and I am glad that I found a few hours of free time to humble it. I rate the number 9/10.    … Expand

    It is one of the best games you can experience in your life. The best example of this genre is definitely Heavy Rain. If you haven't played yet, think of Detroit as less combat and more emotional. So Detroit: Become Human of those times.

    The Good: - Very interesting narrative. Hooks you in. Like a good mystery detective show. - Voice acting is good - many of your decisions will impact the outcome.     - Voice acting is good

    - many of your decisions will impact the outcome. Not only the final outcome, but outcomes throughout your play.

    - The way the game does the dialogue is very good. You can always hear what the characters are thinking. Choices are made in real time, so you can't take too long to make a decision, making it feel real.

    - Quite a variety of settings

    - the plot surprised me. Very good twist.

    - Good build up of the characters. Made me quite invested in each.

    - QTE action sequences were done well. Can get exciting.

    The Bad:

    - Some of the QTE were awkward

    - The camera angles can screw with your movement sometimes.

    - Some of the dialogue options are too ambiguous and may not be what you intend the character to say

    - holding R2 to simply walk becomes annoying.

    - QTEs for menial tasks were unnecessary. It simply caused confusion, and unnatural movement. I just want to get in my car and drive away. Not press rotate my joystick to open the door, press a button to put on my seat belt, rotate my joystick to release the handbrake, then roll my joystick again to start the engine.     David Cage knocked it out the park with this choice based thriller. the story continues no matter what? "dont **** this up" type of chills go down my spine. so many different outcomes and its totally up to you thats where the chills come from. great story besides the JAAASON section at the damn mall. play this game.

You play as Ethan Mars, Madison Page,It is more of an interactive movie than a true videogame and has a slow start. But after this you get an amazing gaming experience. Even after years I remember the story, charterers, plot twists and moral dilemmas. Only a few games got immersive like this. Heavy Rain is best described as action adventure in a murder mystery about the origami killer. You play as Ethan Mars, Madison Page, Norman Jayden and Scott Shelby. Each character has their own motivations, agendas and developments. I will not go into details because spoilers would be a crime. However the story is excellent with branching parts and multiple endings. It depends on you if you are successful, which characters survive or are present at the climax if you even get there. Like I said your success is not granted and there are sad endings. Then there are the moral dilemmas. A fitting question would be “How far would you go to save the ones you love?” Again be prepared for many hard decisions. The plot unfolds really great and I think it is really good with an amazing twist that makes totally sense but will hit you like a truck. There are also some good additional twists and themes. Overall the final question for you is if you like this kind of a more interactive movie like game and can endure the slow start. If the answer is yes than this is a must play. It beefed up it's production values, carried a more grounded story and had real meaningful consequences. In every way it is a far better game than IP...but that doesn't mean it doesn'tHeavy Rain is undoubtedly the game that David Cage is most famous for, for better or for worse. It takes many of the elements that defined Indigo Prophecy and makes very noticeable improvements for sure. It beefed up it's production values, carried a more grounded story and had real meaningful consequences. In every way it is a far better game than IP...but that doesn't mean it doesn't have its stupid moments. Heavy Rain is deeply flawed, but I think it is legitimately enjoyable and well worth playing at least once. Hell, fist time I played the game I finished it all in a single sitting. It was that engaging.

    The game follows multiple protagonist out on the hunt for the infamous Origami Killer, A serial killer that steals sons from their parents and drowns them in rain water. We have Ethan Mars, the unluckiest dad in the world, Madison Page, a reporter, Scott Shelby, the old school Private Eye, and Norman Jayden, the high tech FBI agent. Out of each of the characters, Norman and Scott were easily my favorites. Norman for how much of a smart ass he can be, and Scott for being gruff, yet having a bit of a soft spot. Hell, I think Scott has the most well defined character arc in the entire game, and even has the best attempt at a romance in any of Cage's work up to this point. Ethan is a sympathetic character for many reasons, but often flaccid in personality. Madison, though, contributes very little to the story outside of being a love interest for Ethan. You can honestly remove her all together and not much would really change. As I've mentioned, the game is not without its dumb moments or, worse, continuity errors and plot holes, but on the whole I found this game's story to be far more engaging for more of the right reasons than, say, Indigo Prophecy. There were genuine moments of intrigue, mystery, and even a few heartfelt moments sprinkled in. Far from perfect, but worth playing to completion. It's presentation, while certainly cutting-edge for its time, has aged considerably. Much of that age comes from the characters and how heavily they hit the uncanny valley. Often the facial expressions don't accurately portray the emotions that they are trying to go for and just look down right strange. The voice acting doesn't help matter either. Most of the cast consists of French actors trying to speak English, and hoo boy is it easy to tell. It can range from relatively solid to just downright laughable. Some characters like Ethan and Norman pull it off a bit better than others.

    Like much of Cage's work, your enjoyment is going to be determined by how much you can tolerate its gameplay. The controls take a lot of getting used to. Rather than traditional analog control, you move characters by holding down the R2 button like they're a vehicle and then influence their direction. Otherwise, you will simply just move their heads to look around the environment for contextual items. It's very unconventional, but you'll get used to it pretty quickly. Like in IP, you will engage in QTEs, but instead of Simon Says you will be activating button prompts, analog movements and motion control movements. It's a hell of a lot more engaging than IP, and not only that but many of them have a very strong risk of your characters dying permanently. There are no game overs. It simply continues from there. That's one of the best parts of the game. How well you perform, how much you explore the environments and what choices you make throughout the game actually hold real consequences that can greatly change the outcome (though some choices are more significant than others). It makes for some tough decision making and the action sequences have more weight to them, making for some truly tense moments. That's one of the reasons why you get so invested with your favorite characters. You don't want them to die, so you are going to try your damndest to make sure they live.

    Heavy Rain is one of the best examples of something that is jank, yet enjoyable. I seem to gravitate towards these types of games the most. The ones that have a laundry list of flaws, yet that doesn't matter since I'm having fun with it. If you haven't played any of David Cage's work up to this point...well, I'd say go play Detroit first, and then come to this. It's one of the most memorable games in his repertoire for a reason.    … Expand

    Absolutely over-hyped. Story level - mid-level detective tv-show. Horrible controls - tottally broken.
    Its can be about 8points if not so badly broken controls.
    Im try to play it about 8 hours and must confirm - its MUCH better "play" this on youtube then play by myself. .

Al tratarse de una historia de crímenes, vamos un thriller, a mi ya me ganó. En este juego controlamos a varios personajes durante la historia y vamos tomando diferentes decisiones que afectarán al desarrollo de la misma. Si en algún momento importante fallamos alguna combinación de botones puede desencadenar ne la muerte del personaje y no lo volvemos a ver más en el juego. Movemos a los personajes por escenarios lineales interactuando con objetos y para ver los pensamientos del personaje en ese momento y entender que siente o qué piensa. Gráficamente en la época de PS3 era muy puntero, pero actualmente se ha quedado muy atrás, algo normal. Un punto a señalar es la BSO, la cual, me parece muy buena, con algunos temas que te ponen en tensión durante la historia.     Another excellent graphic adventure from Quantic Dream. In this case with a dark story that goes into the most cinematographic neo-noir genre. If you like movies like 'seven' or 'zodiac', you must play this game.

    One of my favorite titles. I had never played anything like it, and between its gameplay and its plot, I fell in love with Heavy Rain.

    It's not a perfect game, but it's definitely an experience I recommend to any gamer who really wants a game to convey and tell him something.

    Heavy Rain pushed the performance of the PS3 to the absolute max. Amazing graphics at the time and the game was very enjoyable. Got to see all the different outcomes after multiple play-throughs and got the Platinum Trophy.

    the story of HEAVY RAIN are one of my best stories ever not just in the games it is one of my best stories of all time. But there is just 2 things are bad and that's why i didn't give it 10/10 which are :
    FIRST: the sex parts on the game and some of them are effective on the ending i mean you must do it to get the happy ending.
    SECOND; Norman Jayden's endings he is one of the best characters in the game but he has the worst endings his best ending is not so bad but it is not good like the other characters happy endings.

And yes, I have played "Heavy Rain" second time after that and I saw that lots of choices are simply illusionary and a plot has lots of holes, but... I really enjoyed playing it, even the second time. Good acting, beautiful graphic (in 2010 of course) and soundtrack.     heavy rain tem uma história cativante com com personganens muito bem trabalhados, a coisa que deixou minha nota mais baixa foi a gemplay que começa lenta que comba com a jogabilidade que além de uma câmera fixa defeitos de profundida. No final é um jogo sólido que vale o seu tempo.

    Narrative garbage full of plot holes and obviously cut material, combined with obsessive belief that mimicking mundane tasks like opening doors or drinking from glasses with your controller is a foundation of good gameplay. The game would be better presented as a non-interactive movie - if it had a sensible and enjoyable plot, which it does not.

So while I tried to figure stuff out, the game just wandered off without me and a whole lot of nothing happened. And then when I went back to it, I realised that the story was completely depressing and I really didn't care what was going to happen anyway.

    It is a great game due to its narrative, but everything great has flaws, right?
    Performance isn't great, but for the PS3, it's something great.

The initial reason I was drawn to Heavy Rain is because of the murder mystery/detective feeling the game gives off in trailers and other mediums. Every aspect of the game reached nostalgic fields of reminiscing on older black and white mystery shows, except with less family friendly content. I was a bit too young to handle the mature content in the game at its initial release in 2010, so I waited several years before I decided to play through. However, the years of anticipation and waiting were most assuredly worth it. (Warning: the following review does contain spoilers.)

    Heavy Rain can be described as a psychological thriller mystery immersive experience; specifically appealing to the challenges and narrative involved in the gameplay. The narrative focuses on the serial kidnappings and first-degree murders revolving around the Origami Killer; specifically the incident of the young Shaun Mars’ abduction. The player embodies four distinctly different perspectives throughout the course of the game: Ethan Mars, the victim’s father who suffers from depression and schizophrenia after the death of his first son; Scott Shelby, a retired police officer who currently works as a private investigator; Norman Jayden, a Federal Bureau of Investigation agent sent to assist the local police force in the Origami Killer case who is addicted to narcotics; and Madison Paige, an insomniac photographer whose carries meddling desire to help Ethan Mars. The story lines between these playable character interconnect and develop throughout the course of the game to unravel the identify of the Origami Killer.

    The main audience and demographic targeted by Heavy Rain is those who are capable of stomaching extremely sensitive content and unnerving situations, insinuated by the game’s mature rating. An older audience is necessary because the game develops into a series of incredibly dark moments with an overall encompassing depressing nature and narrative. The central antagonist of Heavy Rain is a serial killer drowning children, particularly boys around ten years of age, with the intention of finding a worthy father who is willing to sacrifice everything to save his son. As the game progresses, stakes are raised and the challenges placed on every character (especially Ethan Mars) become more and more gruesome to witness. Heavy Rain initially plays out like a common detective story, but eventually it transforms into a game heavily influenced by horror genres. The trials that the player is faced with are about the characters escaping highly unfavorable circumstances alive with hopefully the least amount of damage possible inflicted upon them. The trials testing how far a father would be willing to go to save his son seem similar to Jigsaw’s “games” in the Saw franchise. Another aspect that contributes to the idea that the audience should be an older age is the possibility that every playable character can die in many different, grotesque ways throughout every moment in the game.

    Heavy Rain captures all the possible perspectives that can be embodied in a kidnapping case. The player gets to control every role including the antagonist, without even realizing it before the climax of the game, which include the victim’s father, the investigating agent, the criminal mastermind, and the third-party reporter. Heavy Rain serves to allow the player, first-hand, to experience the whole criminal process of a psychologically impactful kidnapping and possible murder, depending on the decisions of the player. Every single action that the player chooses evolves the case, like mimicking a real life scenario. Heavy Rain also takes the time to expand upon some other plausible side effects of traumatizing criminal investigations, such as mental illnesses and the influences those illness have on everyday life. This being said, the game is highly intense and very stressful for those sensitive to content of this nature.

    In conclusion, Heavy Rain has mastered putting the player into a fictional realm emotional experiences of high level intensity through interactive storytelling. Decisions of the player, no matter how seemingly small they are, drastically impact every aspect of the story. The game is a satisfying experience to play through, even if the ending seems bittersweet and unsatisfying based on the ability of the player. The game is extremely stressful and once the conclusion was reached, I sighed in relief that I made it. Never both had I been so invested in the progression of a game’s story line; it seemed as though every moment I was at the edge of my seat awaiting the next major event. As such, it is amongst one of the most highly recommended games I can suggest to another individual. I hope that my analysis of the gameplay and overall experience assists anyone in determining if this novelty of a game is right for them.    … Expand

From its ludicrous plot (filled with so much cringe-inducing ridiculousness that it makes the Saw franchise look like high art ), to its amateurish voice acting, to it's weak-as-piss character dialog, all ends up sinking Heavy Rain faster thanMaybe in 2010 this b-grade potboiler was something for the medium to coo about but in 2018 it's flaws, and there are many, have become too apparent.     일단 주인공 에단은 유저를 헷갈리게 하는 데에 편리한 매우 희한한 증세들을 보이는데 이에 대해선 끝내 아무 설명이 없다. 예를 들면 필름이 끊기고 나서 정신이 돌아왔을 때 난데없이 종이접기를 손에 쥐고 있는 건 대체 뭔가? 범인이 필름 끊길 때마다 찾아와서 손에 쥐어주고 갔나? 그리고 평소에 상담사와 부인에게 물에서 익사하는 아이들 모습이 아른거린다고 헛소리를 흘려놓기까지 했단다. 이 게임 시나리오 작가는 일이 참 편한가보다.

    그리고 이 동네는 경찰들이 비현실적으로 막장이다. 영장 없이 주거 침입, 폭행, 고문 및 살인은 물론이고 말도 안되는 명분으로 주인공을 용의자로 지목하여 (무능하게) 추격하는 한편, 정작 범인이 보안 철저할 크레이머 저택에 들어가 수십명을 학살하고 나오는 실제 범죄 현장에선 깜깜 무소식이다.

    결정적으로 앞뒤 안 맞는 범인의 정체가 참 실망스럽다. 도대체 그는 왜 범인이 아닌 줄 뻔히 알면서 크레이머를 범인이라며 추궁해댔던 것인가? 그리고 타자기 가게에서 거사를 치른 뒤에 경찰을 부를거면 뒷정리라도 하고 부르던지. 정리하기도 전에 애써 다급하게 경찰에 신고한 이유가 무엇인가? 애초에 타자기 가게 씬 자체가 순전히 유저들을 낚기 위한 어설픈 편집 트릭이다. 그래놓고 막상 실제로 검거되도 별 문제 없이 유유히 경찰서에서 걸어나온다.

    그리고 무려 30여년을 기다린 끝에 이런 온갖 복잡한 장애물들을 설치해가며 이 장대한 연쇄 살해 음모를 꾸민 그의 동기도 모호하다. 그는 그토록 애타게 희생적인 아버지를 찾아서 뭘 증명하려 한 것인가? 그 아버지를 죽이려 했다면 왜 마지막에 독약을 가짜로 쓴 건가? 살려주려 했다면 왜 마지막에 에단에게 총을 겨눈 건가?

    10시간 동안 열심히 플레이하고 남은 건 수많은 플롯 구멍들과 찝찝한 뒷맛 뿐이다.    … Expand

    Even despite the game's insanely high score, I'll admit that "Heavy Rain" is not free from problems. Although the storyline is well-written, there are a few plot holes and unexplained plot devices (Norman Jayden's ARI and Triptocaine) and, although the acting is solid, there is some awkward line delivery. Even so, the plot actually manages to keep you thinking and asking questions long after you finish the game and it emotionally connects to you like few other games can. Translation: If you can get past the game's minor issues, "Heavy Rain" is a wonder to behold.

The overall story arc is about finding a missing boy (the son of one of the protagonists) who has been kidnapped by an "Origami killer" (a maniac who leaves Origamis at his crime scenes) in a rain-soaked city. There are also some other mini-stories for each character with their own appeal.

    This is a game where choices have lasting effects, or may cause a character to die. You can even have all of the protagonists get killed, leading to a game over state. You can replay the game from the beginning and make different choices to see what different outcomes they yield.

    The graphics do an amazing job to service the game's atmosphere and ambition. All characters have been mo-capped and look great, even though their voce acting isn't perfect. The music is OK.

    The game's big problem though is the awful gamepad controls. I don't mean laggy or imprecise controls. It's a weird system where you have to push the R2 trigger to move forward in the direction you are currently facing, instead of just using the analogue stick in a straight-forward manner (it reminds me of the tank controls in some old games such as Resident Evil and Grim Fandango). There are some QTEs, but also an abundance of button prompts where you have to push various buttons in the sequence they are shown while simultaneously keeping the previous buttons still pressed down in order to go forward or else you have to repeat it from the beginning. It's crazy stupid.

    Luckily though, the game's control issues are addressed if you play with the PS Move motion controller. Everything feels better that way, and the prompts make more sense. There is more fun when you move your, ehm, Move pad to follow the general movements of the protagonists.

    Veio com uma proposta inovadora..fugindo dos padrões da maioria dos jogos...um jogo com cara de filme..gostei bastante da ideia e com certeza a historia criada em volta dos personagens é bem marcante...um suspense de ótima qualidade.

    All right , i finished this game today after having it for 5 or 7 year ro so in my libary. i am not the biggest fan off interactive movies , and while this one does it great wit h ag great story ( a little better then tlou, but tlou again has a far better narrative and character development), good characters and character development , great music.     A beautifully designed game with a very engaging narrative, carefully crafted characters, a heartbreaking story, heart-beating moments, amazing story telling, intense action and thought-stimulating events. It's been six years since this game was released and no other game has yet managed to deliver all that. Highly recommended, not to be missed!

    I would call Heavy Rain an interactive experience. Far more similar to point and click games than anything else you've experienced. The storyline is compelling and the decisions you make are crucial. Sometimes failing to press a button on time will result in the death of a character. You need to pay attention to details and you can always go back and try to find the different endings. AtI would call Heavy Rain an interactive experience. Don't expect mindless action then cut scenes because this game isn't that. Now I love games and I won't say that most games are mindless but this game is engaging you until the very end to participate in every one of your characters actions. You can hear your characters thoughts and chose what they say and do or at least that is the feeling the developer trys to convey to me personally. I'm not sure they succeed 100% because I actually just beat the game and I probably won't play it a second time. At least not yet. I'm going to move on to other games for now. It's not really a short game either because it took me about 16 hours to beat it. It does sort of have that interactive movie/cut scene feel to it and that works because it's not an action game. It reminds me of telltales games the way that your choices affect the story. Now about the story which is very good and keeps you in suspense until the very end. I personally never guessed who the killer was or what his motives were but I was like wow what a good game when the credits rolled. The graphics were pretty good but I noticed that characters would walk through each other in one scene but it wasn't really a big deal.The voice acting was good and I had no complaints. so yeah it was a good game in my opinion and it deserves the 8 I give it.… Expand

    A great game with great graphics and story. Some parts are pretty boring, but after the game you know you played one of these rare masterpieces. For me, the game was much better than the telltale-games showing up these days.

    One of the best experiences in video gaming. I totally recommend the game, specially to those who are tired of generic FPS or sandbox games. We already have enough of them, this is fresh which I really appreciate. Unfortunately it's only on PS3 (coming to PS4 too as a remaster).

    i would have given this game a 10 if i reviewd when playing it the 1st time(a time i didnt understand things) but know i think this game isnt that good. the story is great but this game has some horrible acting and a lot of glitches. giving it a 6/10 because it had some nice gameplay and a great story but one of the worst executions.

    Amazing game with so many endings. I definitely would recommend to people to see them all. The story is one of mystery and it shows just how strong parental love can be, and the flip side of those who go without it and how they turn out.

    David Cage's Heavy rain is one of his best works of Quantic Dreams after Omikron: The Nomad Soul and Fahrenheit (Indigo prophecy). The game has amazing story line, great actors, voice actors, unique features, realistic (kind of) actions and a great atmosphere that could catch your attention to the game on its own.

The main concern for a lot of players (and its source for many bad reviews) is the gameplay. Many people complained that they found it awkward and difficult but I couldn't disagree more. There has never been anything quite like Heavy Rain's gameplay since Quantic Dream's previous game Fahrenheit. Undeniably clever and smooth controls add to the game's realism. The soundtrack is beautiful, and it really captures the emotion that is pumped through the narrative.
