It's the sequel that does everything just as well as the original, but adds loads to it. And, with the music selection being even better and more varied than in the previous game, this really is the perfect music game. A little strange for the ears of some people, perhaps, but strange in the best possible sense of the word.

A full-featured, intuitive, and challenging pop star simulator dressed up as a rhythm game. Whether you love Miku and the rest of the virtual virtuosos there's something to enjoy here, even if it's just to prove that you know your way around a rhythm game.

Classic rhythm game with a high challenge level. If you can get past the idea that you’ll be humming to J-Pop you’ll find an exceptional music game.

The only downside for me is that this is a universe wholly dedicated to the spirit of J-pop and idol lifestyle, where I would hope to see a little more variety in the tracklist, or more imaginative minigames in a future iteration. That said if you're interested in any aspect of J-pop or rhythm games, The Project DIVA universe is a great little corner to spend some time in.

Harder and even more enjoyable, nice selection of themes, great presentation and fun mechanics makes Project Diva a great ride.

If you're familiar with the Project Diva saga this chapter might be one of the best ever made. It's a compelling rhythm game that will keep you busy for a long time.

This second episode is still a fun and convincing rhythm game, but be warned: the difficulty level has tripled since last time.

Hatsune Miku Project Diva F 2nd not only delivers the sequel that fans of the franchise asked for, but makes subtle changes throughout to add polish to an already rock solid system. Those put off by the music are unlikely to feel the rhythm of this release, but the converted will find their dancing feet in no time.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd is a great follow up that brings a better and more varied selection of 40 charming songs packed to challenge your fingertips.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd isn’t for everyone. It appeals to a very specific sect of gamers, but those who find themselves within its territory will quickly become spellbound by the polish, challenge and sheer volume of content offered.

Hatsune Miku fans will find here a title made for them, but still, it's enjoyable for anyone into the music the game relies on.

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd isn't a casual game at all but a game who can try player's skills with a very hard gameplay, combined with a dedicated editor and the funny DIVA Room, giving to the player hundreds of potential hours of play and entertainment.

The difficulty curve and the J-pop focus are what make the game not as enjoyable for me, even though I liked watching the performances. I actually like watching this game be played more than actually playing it.

I've played it for over 250 hours across all the different modes, of which there are several. The core rhythm game is addictive and satisfying, edit mode (where you can create music videos and notemaps to any song at all) is beautifully in-depth, and the diva room... the diva room is certainly present.

If you want a deceptively hardcore rhythm game with a great tracklist and lots to see and unlock, (there's 40 songs in the base game, with even more available as reasonably-priced DLC) then this is all you will ever need, ever.

Look, I have never heard of the term "vocaloid" before, and the music is not the music I usually listen to, and it initially looks more like the type of game my 10 year old daughter would play. But my word, I am enjoying the heck out of it! :-). And for any butch BattleCOD players out there, this game is DIFFICULT. In a good way. You WANT to beat those songs on Hard and Extreme! Great game, I feel I get a LOT of entertainment for my money with this title. Strongly recommended. Full Review »
