    This game has it all, weird bosses, old school 2D sprite graphics and satisfactory droid destruction. A sweet blast from the past that reminds us about the glory days of the Megadrive (Genesis). You can't go wrong with Gunstar Heroes.

Hace muchos años antes de que existiera un pequeño oasis de creatividad en el mercado indie con juegos de nicho, que no alcanzan la popularidad necesaria y que tenian un enorme potencial y pasan sin pena ni gloria, ocurrió algo que hoy día es algo común pero insólito en aquel entonces. Varios ex-empleados de Konami fundaron su propia empresa "Treasure" la cual rechazaba los estándares impuestos en el desarrollo de secuelas de franquicias que se estancaban en su formula establecida. Esta empresa comenzó sin mucho crédito, pues ni Konami, ni la propia SEGA, veían productivos esta clase de juegos y presagiaban fracaso en ventas. Tras mucho sacrificio y esfuerzo y firmar un contrato que les obligaba a hacer un juego de "McDonalds" con SEGA, trabajando en paralelo con su proyecto principal, Gunstar Heroes salió al mercado y demostró un poderío, un frenetismo, una intensidad y un descaro que lo convirtieron en un clásico inmediato. Solo el procesador de Mega Drive podía realizar la viguería técnica de mover este juego con fluidez, en aquella época algo impensable con una tecnología tan arcaica. Un run'n'gun sencillo en su planteamiento, pero con un enfoque muy arcade y muy divertido.… Full Review »
