    An epic game.
    The title has some small improvements, such as a more polished command and gameplay, and the small graphical improvement. However, it has other added details that change and improve the experience either in combat or in puzzles. It's still a linear adventure but with its little secrets and extras. The story starts quite simple but it becomes interesting and in the middle of    An epic game.

Many battles and stages are really epic and far surpassed his predecessor, without a doubt a classic.     God of War 2 is a typical sequel. Yes, the game has become larger, and the gameplay has become more pleasant. The mechanics of the battle became diverse, the graphics became slightly better, although on the PS3 the difference with the first part is minimal. But all the shortcomings of the first part passed here. In some moments, the metrical camera is simply terrible, it is incomplete whyGod of War 2 is a typical sequel. The game has been translated into my native Russian completely, but why can't I include voice acting in English? And despite the fact that everyone liked 2 part more, I was very impressed when GOW 1 was held. The ending also disappointed, she just breaks.     Take this review with a grain of salt, as I have never been a fan of the original God of War games. It combined two game mechanics that I despise the most: Button mashing and quick time events. That is why it took me so long to return to the series, God of War II, which is often regarded as the best God of War game from the old trilogy. It is definitely a good production. Graphics, sound, cutscenes all push the PS2 to its limits so if I were a game critic, maybe I would have rated this higher.

    Core game is still the same and I do not like it. I still hate button mashing; I still hate quick time events and God of War II has a lot of those. It is also as much a puzzle and platforming game as it is an action, so expect plenty of puzzle solving and precise platforming. So yes, it is an epic journey with some good boss fights and a great story, but it’s just not for me.    … Expand

    Хороший сиквел, более масштабный, эпичный. Множество знакомых мифологических лиц (Зевс, Персей, Тесей, Икар и т.д.), постановка, ролики стали более дорогими, сюжет захватывает и интригует. Боевка осталась прежней, зрелищной и брутальной, добавили пару новых оружий, которые тоже можно прокачиваеть. Загадки, их теперь стало очень много, что я не считаю плюсом - слишком часто появляются,Хороший сиквел, более масштабный, эпичный. Множество знакомых мифологических лиц (Зевс, Персей, Тесей, Икар и т.д.), постановка, ролики стали более дорогими, сюжет захватывает и интригует. Боевка осталась прежней, зрелищной и брутальной, добавили пару новых оружий, которые тоже можно прокачиваеть. Загадки, их теперь стало очень много, что я не считаю плюсом - слишком часто появляются, буквально каждые 10-15 минут и отъедают львиную долю игрового времени, иногда просто выбешивая, т.к. подсказок по традиции почти не выдают. Концовка прям затравка к третьей части, которая начинается как раз того момента, где заканчивается сабж. Представляю, с каким нетерпением фанаты ждали продолжение :)
    В общем и целом игра хороша, лично для меня не самый топ, но как сиквел прямо идеальной получилась.    … Expand
