    Bom jogo. Apesar de não revolucionar a franquia, tenta interessantes mudanças no gameplay. A variedade de quick time events é competente e a fluidez dos combates é a melhor já feita na série. História mediana, mas é interessante ver o personagem Kratos com um pouco mais de "humanidade", dada a comparação com os jogos mais recentes na cronologia da saga.

    God of War: Ascension is a good slasher. Good story, but gameplay look's like a God of War 3 , good boss fights , game design and music.

    El último de los God of War de cuño clásico, que paradójicamente es el primero cronológicamente en cuanto a su historia, nos ofrece lo mismo que nos ofrecía el resto de la saga. Esto es acción clásica al estilo hack and slash, puzzles más o menos complicados para superar ciertas zonas y unos espectaculares combates contra jefes finales. No faltan tampoco los populares QTE que en esta saga,El último de los God of War de cuño clásico, que paradójicamente es el primero cronológicamente en cuanto a su historia, nos ofrece lo mismo que nos ofrecía el resto de la saga. Esto es acción clásica al estilo hack and slash, puzzles más o menos complicados para superar ciertas zonas y unos espectaculares combates contra jefes finales. No faltan tampoco los populares QTE que en esta saga, en especial, se hicieron tan famosos.

    Estamos ante un gran juego, que llega, en cuanto a espectacularidad, a los niveles vistos en la tercera entrega. Pero quizás su principal problema radica en eso, en que es más de lo mismo. Para cuando este último título salió quizás ya la formula estaba un poco manida o agotada. Y es quizás por eso que no llegó a los niveles de rendimiento en el ámbito de las ventas de entregas anteriores.

    Pese a esto es un juego recomendado a todos aquellos fans de la saga con curiosidad por la historia de Kratos y su ascenso y posterior caida del trono del dios de la guerra. Es un juego espectacular y con unos estándares de diseño y producción muy altos. Si te mola la saga de Kratos debes probarlo.    … Expand

    The story is a bit superfluous since GoW 3 wrapped up the Greek era, but screw it! I don't play these games for the story! I wanna take on some Greek monstrosities!
    Set pieces like fighting in the prison built within the giant is awesome, and the fights are just as big and bombastic as you'd expect. Combat is just as brutally beautiful as the previous games.     Although the overarching story is sloppy, you get some great character moments with Kratos when you delve into his past as a Spartan, husband, and father. It helps solidify that his entire story is a Greek tragedy with how he gave up a great life by selling his soul to Ares, and how the core of his character is a broken man full of shame looking for redemption.

    spectacular amazing gore combat great enemy variety the elephants where so awesome to fight i wish there was more of these enemies in other god of war games the puzzles where so brilliant unique hard the story is great with great pacing boss fights where a few but it was epic fighting The Aegean hycatonchories titan Prophet Castor and the furies you get your original blades of chaos andspectacular amazing gore combat great enemy variety the elephants where so awesome to fight i wish there was more of these enemies in other god of war games the puzzles where so brilliant unique hard the story is great with great pacing boss fights where a few but it was epic fighting The Aegean hycatonchories titan Prophet Castor and the furies you get your original blades of chaos and the elemental powers you get are so cool and unique and you can upgrade them and do so some insane combos combined with standard weapons you get to pick up the grapple system with R1 is amazing i like the new tweeks to the combat systems it feels fresh new i really liked the QTE mini games where you can dodge your opponent and than strike the soundtrack and music is awesome the graphics are great in ascension the enviroments imagination art design of this game is briliant this game shouldn't be compared to god of war 3 because its a prequel to god of war chains of olympus and ascension doesnt deserve to be the black sheep of the god of war franchise god of war ascension is just one of the many best god of war games in the franchise that deserves its 10/10 just like the other god of war games what a masterpiece… Expand

    Most underrate GoW game
    if u use old Gow tactics(1~3) to play this beauty U will suffer
    just more frequently using magic&R1 grab and throw ur enemy to break predicament
    upgrade single element first
    don't hold rage meter too long. if u got it just used
    and this monster will be most great and Violence creature on this series

    Al ser el único juego de la saga con modo multijugador lo comentaré a continuación: Se trata de un multijugador estándar en juegos First_Party de PlayStation, puede entretener pero no suma a la experiencia de un solo jugador.
    A pesar de mis malas palabras sigue siendo un juego notable, pero al menos en mi caso es el juego cuyo protagonista es Kratos que menos ganas me genera para rejugarlo.    … Expand

    it has the best combat finishers to regular enemies and minibosses in the franchise plus i loved the new real time action based QTEs

    the game gets a lot of hate but i can't bring myself to give it any less than a 10 considering how much i enjoyed the combat

    Игра на мой скромный взгляд как всегда отличная. Не смотря то что этой игре через пару лет будет уже 10 годиков, картинка хороша на мой взгляд даже сейчас:)И кто играл в первую вторую и тругие части это франшизы советую эту часть обязательно пройти!;) И в эту игру можно начать играть после первой части потому что сюжет идёт после разрыва клятвы( это не спойлер потому что сюжет первой частиИгра на мой скромный взгляд как всегда отличная.     Incrível como todos os jogos de GOW são bons, mas nesse caso aqui é um bom game, mas não é espetacular igual aos outros da franquia.
    Um quesito que esse supera os demais são os seus gráficos que conseguiu ser mais bonito que o GOW 3 e pelo o fato de ser o primeiro GOW dublado em PT-BR.

    This game is such an amazing. I like the story of sparta the god of ancient Greek. the gameplay it's stunning. This game is added to my favorite games I ever played.

    This was way better than some of the other GOW games. It's a real hit and miss series for me. Fantastic graphics and sound, excellent story, and really incredible graphics for the time. Some of the battles are seriously epic, as well! Highly recommended!

    is no better than the other parts but the combat system and brutality is one of the best of GoW series in this game. I love it.

    8/10. God of War Ascension- это первая и единственная(на момент написания ревьюхи) игра серии гов в которую я играл. Сюжет. Сюжет в этой игре хороший, по хронологии это первая игра в серии, следить за приключением Кратоса и сражаться с мифическими монстрами интересно.
    Геймплей. Боевка в этой игре хорошая, убивать чудовищ с помощью клинков хаоса приятно. Камера иногда бесит но в целом    8/10.     eu não sei o que aconteceu no estudio pois a historia n faz sentido, e tambem, a gente joga tanto tempo uma lembrança que o jogador esquece que está no passado e não no presente, mas o combate e graficos são bons demais, os graficos são simplesmente um dos melhores do ps3

    As a successor of the classic God of War trilogy, Ascension made some progress on game design, such as multiplayer mode and weapons obtained on battlefield, while kept the core of God of War series.

    God of War: Ascension does exactly what you would expect from a God of War title.The sheer amount of violence and tension is simply breathtaking, especially when taking place right on top of a giant creature. The entire experience is accompanied by stunning graphics and an impressive soundtrack. While the multiplayer is somewhat disappointing, it is apparent that Kratos is still this generation's most fearsome warrior.

    You can point out that Ascension failed to make a real step forward. You can argue that the multiplayer mode is a foreign body, a strained attempt to find innovation in the wrong place. That’s true, but in my eyes the foundation built by the previous God of War games proved to be strong enough to sustain what I hope is just the calm before the storm that Kratos will unleash on PS4. And damn, Ascension looks unbelievable! [CD-Action 05/2013, p.64]

    Ascension shows a warrior who is miles away from being the ultimate and flawless killing machine we all know and love. He is more like an unguided projectile here, trying to cope with all the injustice delivered unto him. [April 2013, p.62]
