    Estou jogando este jogo na data da analise, e que posso falar é seguinte.
    É um bom jogo, porém tem algumas coisas chatas como por exemplo você está de carro e tem algumas bases dos inimigos, você mata todos, o jogo indica que você matou todos, mais quando você passa novamente os inimigos estão todos la novamente, e duro que eles te seguem de carro atirando para você parar, não adianta    Estou jogando este jogo na data da analise, e que posso falar é seguinte.
    É um bom jogo, porém tem algumas coisas chatas como por exemplo você está de carro e tem algumas bases dos inimigos, você mata todos, o jogo indica que você matou todos, mais quando você passa novamente os inimigos estão todos la novamente, e duro que eles te seguem de carro atirando para você parar, não adianta correr. uma maneira de evitar um pouco isso é utilizando o barco onde tem poucos inimigos ou utilizar os ônibus.
    detalhe legal que percebi bem depois é quando você está na missão e tem duas escolhas onde você tem escolher uma e as placas na estradas nos cruzamentos elas ficam na cor vermelho e verde se não me engano para direcionar.
    Não perca tempo de fazer missão secundária além de ser super repetitivo recompensa é baixo.
    Em alguns momentos deu umas travas mais foi bem pouco pelo tempo de campanha.
    Os inimigos até são bom, sempre estão se movimentando escondendo dificultando, ponto positivo

    A sequel by name only, Far Cry 2 marked the beginning of Ubisoft's ownership of the franchise after it purchased the rights to Crytek's IP. From the outset there are no ties to the original game, it's sci-fi conspiracy-esque tone, setting or characters. Instead Ubisoft opted for a more grounded and realistic setting. This approach kind of leeches any form of imaginative or 'far' fetchedA sequel by name only, Far Cry 2 marked the beginning of Ubisoft's ownership of the franchise after it purchased the rights to Crytek's IP.     Far Cry 2 is good game. However it has some problems. First of all.. the story is not catchy as it could be. Its too long and chaotic.
    Quests (or missions if you want) are almost same thing over and over again the same thing. Go from point A to point B and kill these or these guys. As a bonus you have a choice to choose "alternate option" how you want to do this. In most cases you will    Far Cry 2 is good game. However it has some problems. First of all.. the story is not catchy as it could be. Its too long and chaotic.

In most cases you will ignore it because you would have to go to other side of map and then back and then in some cases again across whole map.
    During this, you will have to clean all outposts and patrols you already cleared five or six times so you will be pissed. Honestly, i dont know who though that this respawning will be good idea.

    Another stupid thing is that malaria medicine. Quests for it are all same - go there, kill few bad guys, and give random people passports.

    Side missions for example from Gun Shop are irrelevant.
    Shooting model is pretty good, gun upgrading interesting, diamond currency is kinda weird but okay.
    Story is quite boring (for me), characters uninteresting.
    + FPS drops during explosions and big engagements and AI is not one of the smartest i´ve seen in games.

    Only thing that saves this game from bad 5/10 Score is definitely environment. Dude... this game definitely doesnt looks like its from 2008. Even 13 years later in 2021 its not ugly, well of course its not pretty anymore but its accpetable.

    This is by FAR the best Far Cry game that's in existence.
    The story was interesting enough, you were sent there to kill an arms dealer who sold weapons to opposing forces etc. The map is nice, the whole "tropical island" thing is kinda played out nowadays, so I am glad that they chose some cry ass desert the 2nd time.     The graphics and gameplay are still better than some games released in 2020, which is honestly very pathetic. It was way ahead of it's time. Great weapons selection, a bit limited but it compensates for having guns like the explosive arrow crossbow (Fortune's Edition), 8 golden AKs, and of course my all time favourite, the Desert Eagle. Funny, since it's also the only game that finally made the Desert Eagle look good, all other games from that era, except CoD4, made it look like absolute trash.    … Expand

    Far Cry 2 is very average FPS for me.The story is not interesting.It is go from A to B and kill some bad guys.There are also times that the game freezes and forces me to shut down the PS3(Slim) system.It frustrating if you are on a mission and it ends before you even started it.For the graphics,sound effects and gameplay i am having no complaints.They are on top level quality.

    Far cry 2 is one of my favorite far cry games I like the idea of your guns wearing down it's the only far cry game that does it plus the map is decent and the story isn't bad plus I like the buddy system when you get into trouble you mate will save your ass from the fire too bad it had a cooldown but overall it's a awesome game I just wish it was on ps4 so I can buy it digital and playFar cry 2 is one of my favorite far cry games I like the idea of your guns wearing down it's the only far cry game that does it plus the map is decent and the story isn't bad plus I like the buddy system when you get into trouble you mate will save your ass from the fire too bad it had a cooldown but overall it's a awesome game I just wish it was on ps4 so I can buy it digital and play through it again I miss this game… Expand

    Far Cry 2 had a huge potential. If this game got polished, it could have been one of the best games ever made. Unfortunately the game seems a little bit rushed and some things were not thought through to the end.

    It is still my favorite FPS of all time because of its amazing atmosphere and its attention to detail in the environment.     It is still my favorite FPS of all time because of its amazing atmosphere and its attention to detail in the environment. In my opinion this game has the highest degree of immersion ever. For example there is no minimap or other notifications on the screen, no arrows that indicate where the enemies are and no seeing through walls. Instead you have to navigate with a physical map and a compass. It just feels real.

    I would like to see more of these mechanics, but i doubt any of the modern gaming developers will do so. Rather they will make a mass suitably game for the mainstream.

    PROs:

    - highly immersive
    - attention to detail in the environment
    - very good graphics
    - big open world

    CONs:

    - mediocre storyline
    - respawning enemies
    - outpost and patrols keep shooting you every 2 minutes
    - stealth mechanic a little broken

    Um mapa gigante e bonito,mas com o passar das horas jogadas fica cansativo,levando em consideração os objetivos que praticamente são os mesmos...mudando apenas os locais...mas apesar de tudo merece ser jogado...um bom jogo.

For me every minute of my 40 hours of Far Cry 2 felt like a chore. Let me just say, however, that I played Far Cry 3 and 4 before I played this one and thoroughly enjoyed them, I even played on hard difficulty for a bit of a challenge. Far Cry 2 I played on easy and found it significantly harder than the others. The script is rushed, the enemies are constantly chasing you down, and you can't outrun them. Stealth very rarely works, unless you only play at night and the enemies are spread out. The amount of times I spent stuck against a knee high rock or trapped between a rock and a tree branch desperately trying to jump or duck my way out ruined the game for me. After finally making it to the last chapter of the game and into the heart of darkness I encountered a glitch which stopped the mission activating and no matter what I did it would not activate. I had to reload a save losing 4 hours of play. Positives are impressive graphics for the time of release and an interesting "villain", even if the script is a little rushed. Overall I would not recommend this game to anyone, unless I hated them. Once I am done burning my copy and participating in some deep breathing exercises I may return to the Far Cry series for Far Cry Primal, but I'm just too emotional for that right now.… Expand

    After having played both Far Cry 3 and 4 I have to say that this is my favorite of the three. I might be writing this through my nostalgia goggles, so bare with me. The beauty of Africa is just stunning. There is a lot of variety in the game's world. There is the deep jungle areas, large savannah's, wet swamps and dry desert areas. In Far Cry 3 it was just jungle, jungle, jungle    AFRICA!

    The story and voice acting is decent and oh, the accents. The main villain is interesting enough. And there's nothing better than being victorious after slaying a handful of enemies. Because unlike the later Far Cry games, this game is actually challenging. You have a very limited health and ability to heal. And the battles really feel like battles. The tension is real when you have to hide behind your car when taking fire from all sides. And the music just fits the game and atmosphere perfectly.

    This is a beautiful, awesome game with a p highly entertaining multiplayer, and detailed systems in single player with a decent plot. This is a very good game, especially for how old it is, and I recommend it to any gamer.

    Game-play:The game have some standards FPS mechanics but it is very difficult compered to other FPS.

    Story:The story is not that good and it is the main reason i give this game 7.

    Graphics:I really like the graphics they are very realistic.

    Notes:The game have lot of weapons to use and a big map to explore.This is a good game and i recommend it to any FPS fan.

    La desilusión que me llevé con Far Cry 2 fue enorme. Los trailers tenían tan buena pinta que me liaron para comprar este aburrido, repetitivo y soso juego. Gráficamente se salva (siendo del 2008 tiene buenos gráficos), el fuego es lo que mas llama la atención. Pero de que sirve eso si la historia no tiene gancho y las misiones siempre son iguales. Hay lugares de enemigos que aunque los mates si te alejas y vuelves estan ahí otra vez. De vez en cuando ves zebras pero parecen hechas de cartón y no sirve de nada matarlas. El multijugador también tenía potencial (ese creador es bastante bueno) pero se queda en un online cutre y casposo, con unos controles tan toscos (tanto del hombre como de los vehículos) es casi imposible matar a alguien. En definitiva, no merece la pena que lo compréis, id directamente a por el 3, el cual sí es un gran juego y no este...… Expand

But the multiplayer is just "olalaa"! It's still have the best FPS gaming multiplayer lobbies ever in realistic war games. You have editor were you can create your own multiplayer games and lobbies with game modes likeAs I have played this game much. I will recommend to spend this game 15$. The story mode isn't that good. It's little bit boring even it have open world and stuff. But the multiplayer is just "olalaa"! It's still have the best FPS gaming multiplayer lobbies ever in realistic war games.     I don't feel necessarily like I've played this game enough to write a review (about 4 hours) but the fact that I can't bring myself to play it again should tell you it kinda sucks. You have to drive around for hours and hours (this isn't GTA so this isn't really a virtue, driving is kind of frustrating especially given the lack of a useful map/GPS), every few hundred meters you'll beI don't feel necessarily like I've played this game enough to write a review (about 4 hours) but the fact that I can't bring myself to play it again should tell you it kinda sucks.     At the time it was probably passable but now it's just ok. The story is at best, good. Even though it is an open world game, I still felt a lot of restriction.

    I have to tell that i was pretty eager on starting this game. After 4 hours and 12% completion i got definitely BORED to hell with the driving and the endlessly re-spawning of guard points. The games is gorgeous but i just can't stand this anymore. Far Cry 2 is done for me.

    Underrated. A very good FPS with impressive graphics, and it's HARD! Definitely not a place for **** If you can't take the heat stay out of Africa.

    Playing Far Cry 2 on the PS3, is quite fun. The impressive technical graphics shines even in PS3. But, from the amazing graphics that Far Cry 2 haves, sometimes the game laggs, which can be annoying. So, I was expecting that PC version is way better, and It is. However, the story mode is incredible, because of It's sandbox gameplay, and It haves one of the most difficult combat out there.Playing Far Cry 2 on the PS3, is quite fun. The impressive technical graphics shines even in PS3. But, from the amazing graphics that Far Cry 2 haves, sometimes the game laggs, which can be annoying. So, I was expecting that PC version is way better, and It is. However, the story mode is incredible, because of It's sandbox gameplay, and It haves one of the most difficult combat out there. About the multiplayer, is fun, but not great. You rarely can get addicted from the multiplayer, because It's not revolutionary. Still, fun. And the map editor It's perfect, where you can create your own map. 75 out of 100… Expand

    What can I say. It's stands out as a stunning game visually. Exploring Africa is cool, but there are things in this game that piss me off. This open world game is a mess. Filled with bugs, bad AI and a crap load of **** out to get you. The missions can be compelling but I felt more in the end that it was a decent enough game. Give it a shot if you like open world games, but good luck. It's hard.

This game is with extreme gameplay, very realistic graphics and beautifully great. Multiplayer is interesting and intense. Multiplayer haves some unique things that you will be impressed by them. There's even map editor, which is a greatFar Cry 2 is a beautiful shooter, and unique. When I played for about one day, I was not really impressed, but when I continued to play, It grows on me.     Even if I find the multiplayer too staid, I find the possibility of cool user-made levels (via the easy map editor) tantalizing. Like any good Grand Theft Auto, Far Cry 2's overall package makes up for any individual flaws -- enough for it to be on a short list of best FPS games this year -- and so it's fitting to summarize it as...well, GTA: Mogadishu.
