Dead Money was tardy to class on the PS3. Released a couple of months after the X-Box 360 version, it's hard for PS3 lovers to leave the bitterness at the door. The difficult reputation earned by this expansion during that absent period was not incorrect. This is one tough expansion, yet it doesn't feel as complete or as complex as those released for Fallout 3. One major improvement overDead Money was tardy to class on the PS3. One major improvement over New Vegas is the lack of lag time and bugs that nearly crippled the New Vegas playing experience. Casual players may want to skip this DLC until the definitive version of New Vegas is released. Even hardcore players may want to wait as well. Expand

The story is fairly interesting, the characters are great and the way you have to play it is interesting and intense. The new weapons and gear aren't that interesting, but this is definetly worth checking out.

A missed opportunity, with Dead Money focusing on mostly the worst aspects of New Vegas. [Issue#203, p.98]

Though the new gear is lackluster, the path opened to the level 35 cap and new perks is fair compensation.

Obsidian delivers a first DLC that matches their Fallout: New Vegas : tense, captivating, despite its linearity. With a tiny bit more difficulty! Once more, we'd almost forget about the aging 3D engine of Bethesda and the poor AI. I experienced it like a little pen & paper RPG scenario of a single night. My thanks to the Obisidian Game Master.
