Although this DLC adds plenty of new weapons and clothing items, it's nonetheless brief and rather glitchy. And while the setting is quite neat, the overall experience is rather unmemorable.

Has frozen every time I've tried to play. Scored it a 2 based purely on the fact that it SEEMS like it COULD be good.

The Pitt is probably the weaker of Fallout 3's expansions. It is a good expansion, yes, but I didn't felt myself tied to it. The setting in Pittsburgh is interesting, but doesn't have a great charm. The characters are quite good and main quest is nice, and choices matter a lot, that's for sure, and it is definitely good. New weapons are nice, as new enemies to combat. Longevity is prettyThe Pitt is probably the weaker of Fallout 3's expansions. It is a good expansion, yes, but I didn't felt myself tied to it. However The Pitt begins and ends, without leaving anything in particular. It is an end in itself. It could certainly be better.

One of the best games to the series and an All-time Classic. Also, the last Decent Fallout Game!

If you can make it through without any glitches, you'll find a lot to like here. Until a patch comes, good luck.
  2. Bethesda really put a lot of care into The Pitt. The excellent setup, twist, unique art direction, and chilling atmosphere are all aspects of a great piece of DLC that simply shouldn’t be missed, despite the pack’s short length.
  3. Although The Pitt is a bit on the short side overall, it offers the perfect mix of the core Fallout 3 experience with a great new story, location, enemies, quests and weapons.
