    I really wanted to like this game. It has some great humor and jokes and well...that's about it. This is a cover based shooter but it isn't done very well. Most often it was just easier not to get behind cover and simply shoot the enemy before they shot me. Rinse and repeat. The levels are uninspired, and drag on far too long, the graphics are bland and the game is pretty short. Most willI really wanted to like this game.     Eat Lead is easily described by one word: suckish. It is a funny game yes with an interesting story to it, but it sacrifices everything else for the comedy. The gameplay feels very recycled from other games but the company actually ruined it here. It is also extremely repetive, fighting the same enemies over and over, and there are plenty of times where enemies will randomly spawn right Eat Lead is easily described by one word: suckish. Barely any weapons, pathetic boss battles, and well, everything about this game is pretty bad. You know how the boxart has Matt holding a chain-gun in one hand and a pissed off machine gun in the other? Guess what, you do not even get those weapons. The most explosive weapon that you get is a wimpy looking grenade launcher. Trust me, I would only suggest this as a rental only for the trophies. Nothing else.… Expand

    This was a truly terrible game. The only reason I picked it up in the first place was because it was supposed to be funny, but it really failed. They had some great voice actors but the writing is not even remotely funny. And it's the type of game where you hear the same lines hundreds of times.

    The actual gameplay is even worse than the story. It's boring at it's best and incredibly frustrating at it's worst. A cover shooter where cover literally disappears as a mechanic and boss battles with instant death hits are just a few of the highlights.

    Too much is wrong with the game. The most annoying thing is the floating crosshair. The crosshair is red and when I shoot the enemy doesn‘t get damage. You can stand behind a wall and shoot enemy‘s. Wierd logic and a crap story.

    The story isn't there, the gameplay is tedious, and there's nothing visually exciting about this one. There are a few laughs here and there and some Trophy padding, but this has "bargain bin" written all over it.

    Matt Hazard is not a great game. It falls victim to a lot of the cliches that it pokes fun at and Matt Hazard doesn't have the star appeal of a Duke Nukem or a Marchs Fenix. It doesn't take the spoof thing far enough-they totally waste the voice over talents of the awesome Will Arnett-and the action needs three more coats of polish but it definitely has its moments. Despite its faults, I more or less enjoyed it.

    It comes out of the gate with a strong opening set and sprinkles in a good joke every time the audience gets restless. But the gameplay itself is as diluted as a happy hour special in an 18-and-over club.
