    I think OmegaForce can't do anythink except copyPaste game. They always did same things and it work ok. But this part is worst. All what they can broke - they did it. Enemy general always spawn and go to attack main base, you cant catch enemy main base before cath another supply base. The heroes move slow, supper power is ussles. Game totally unplayeble. I like copy paste Omega games, butI think OmegaForce can't do anythink except copyPaste game. They always did same things and it work ok. But this part is worst.     Very bad....
    The same game, with better graphics.
    The gameplay still horrible. There are no cut scenes with the history, that were so cool in the others empires releases.
    I just played to get the trophies.

    Game is simple enough to learn and to play randomly without having to get into a big story, yet deep enough to keep you hooked for all night sessions. I have found myself turning this game on for just one battle as well as sitting all night all hyped up on Rockstar's. I have found myself turning this game on for just one battle as well as sitting all night all hyped up on Rockstar's. I gave it an 8 instead of a 10 because there is room for bettering in the fact that I wish there was a little more customization and I wish there was a free roam or "arcade" style like before instead of only being able to play the "empire mode" which is the story mode. This doesn't make that much of a downside but it is something that could be done like prior DW's. I also like the fact that instead of square/triangle button combos that they integrated "specials" by holding L2 and whatever button you wish to coordinate. I specifically like the combo of "double" and "steal" which would then make a double of yourself and then steal gold from the opponents with every hit. The addition of "Empire Mode" is a wonderful aspect, being able to leave certain kingdom leaders for others is great however I wish they would incorporate something like a "relationship" meter so you know where you stand with each leader, you can easily leave and come back however many times without really any punishment. All n all a great game to zone out on and slash the night away, this game keeps me entertained until the best hack n slash ever comes out later, Diablo.… Expand

    I have to admit i have mixed feelings on this one. We all know the Warriors series has become simple updates of each other, but what does that matter? The game is still incredibly fun, and has a great story based on the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" novels. Number 6 in the series was a huge letdown for me, i don't like the new combat system at all. It simply feels dumbed down. However,I have to admit i have mixed feelings on this one. We all know the Warriors series has become simple updates of each other, but what does that matter? Number 6 in the series was a huge letdown for me, i don't like the new combat system at all. It simply feels dumbed down. However, the Strategy phase of the game is executed almost flawlessly. The strategy phase of DW5: Empires was bigger, but also harder to use, which pushed gamers away from the game. DW6: Empires fixed this, and the new mode is very easy to use and navigate. Overall, this game is a great addition to the series, and i am looking forward to the next installment in the series.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I have to say I'm very disappointed with the game it-self. I feel that this is probably Koei's worst Dynasty Warriors game yet. The thing that lets this game down the most is the repetitive gameplay and characters. I mean c'mon, characters having the same weapon and fighting style..very annoying. I would recommend staying well away from this game.… Expand

    Koei has made one heck of a game and another great success. I mean ever since Dynasty Warriors 4 came out the franchise has just been abseloutely phenominal. This is one of the best games the PS3 has to offer. I just love these kinds of games, from unlocking characters, to the co-op, and just to the overall story mode itself. I mean bring on more Koei.     This is by far the most in depth game of all the warrior games. Dynasty warriors 6 was decent enough for change, but the depth of customization was not present enough to make the gamer care. This game however has create a character, unlockables, and a much better weapon and character upgrade system which allows the gamer to push further to grab everything possible to create a powerhouse This is by far the most in depth game of all the warrior games. The absence of multiple weapon upgrades and a secret 4th level weapon like dynasty warriors 3-5 had is a bit disappointing, but one forgives this through all the possible customization options. Another plus is the Officer Mode of playing. The missions are quick, yet can be challenging and provide balanced rewards. The two qualities which could have been improved are the cloned movesets being given unique movesets instead, and the presence of several different weapons to upgrade to. The generic movesets given to half of the characters that are repeated for several other characters gets rid of variety, and is easily rather tedious to use. And for players who like collecting new shiny and often overthetop looking weapons, the absence of such collection is a big disappointment for such players. With the vast other customization options and nice reevaluation of Dynasty Warriors 6's renbu system though, the game is easily the highest quality and most reolayable out of the Warriors games. Even haters of the series may be able to find some amusement in this game.… Expand

    Beautiful visuals, perfect combat system and an edit mode thats like recycling. (The possibilities are endless!) Then I come to Empire mode, AMAZING!!! Ruler and officer are so different, officer mode is more interesting to play but being ruler in charge of everything is brilliant fun. Ten out of ten. End of story. Goodbye.

    DW6E is a very satisfying addition to the "Empires" series. The focus on 6E is split into two modes - as an Officer, complete missions to earn favour and renown. As a Ruler, recruit Officers and beat the living hell out of everyone. Refinements to the game, such as how Bases work and the bonuses they grant, are most satisfying. The bodycount is also through the roof - on 5 Empires I DW6E is a very satisfying addition to the "Empires" series. The focus on 6E is split into two modes - as an Officer, complete missions to earn favour and renown. As a Ruler, recruit Officers and beat the living hell out of everyone. Refinements to the game, such as how Bases work and the bonuses they grant, are most satisfying. The bodycount is also through the roof - on 5 Empires I averaged around 300 kills a level, and now I average 1200+! Whilst being the "Ruler" is the path the game seems to push, Officer Mode offers a nice change of pace that should not be overlooked, and is more than welcome.… Expand

    I am a die-hard DW fan and was so disappointed by DW 6 that I had to sell it. For me this game has completely brought the series back with not only adding the brilliantly deep and open-ended strategy side of the "Tactics" game, but having great in-battle gameplay and much more complex and interesting battle maps. My only criticism would be that the game - to my knowledge - hasn't I am a die-hard DW fan and was so disappointed by DW 6 that I had to sell it. For me this game has completely brought the series back with not only adding the brilliantly deep and open-ended strategy side of the "Tactics" game, but having great in-battle gameplay and much more complex and interesting battle maps. My only criticism would be that the game - to my knowledge - hasn't incorporated any of the classic DW battles such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion, and Hu Lao Gate.… Expand

    I have every PS3 game released by KOEI and so far this is my favorite. They've done a great job and I'm pretty sure I"ll be playing this long after I get the platinum. The draw distance during split-screen play has been improved A LOT compared with DW6, which has quickly put this at the top of my list for local co-op (of 70+ retail and 60+ psn games). Having well over a hundred I have every PS3 game released by KOEI and so far this is my favorite. They've done a great job and I'm pretty sure I"ll be playing this long after I get the platinum. Having well over a hundred music tracks to choose from and being able to browse them while the level loads is great too. By the time you pick the one you like there's almost no time spent waiting. I'm not including in my rating stuff I wanted to be added to DW6, I feel for what it's trying to do.. I'm giving this an 8. I'd rate it higher except you dont have to break gates open anymore, you don't unlock characters (they're all available) and your characters don't persist (you can't collect/level all of them without seperate savegames). Oh yeah, and you'll probably want to play on Hard or more difficulty - Normal is just too easy. Overall, a GREAT game for the price point, not to be missed unless you're one of those people who always play on Easy and think it's just button mashing *rolls eyes*.… Expand

    Let's face it... Installment 6 is a return to the roots of the game in an effort to win over a new generation of fans. It's simplified, it's dumbed down, and very easy to approach for the first time player. Seasoned fans might as well go back and play DW5:Empires, as that is a far superior game in longevity, strategy, and much more engaging. This one is easier than Risk Let's face it... This one is easier than Risk where DW5:E was more like Axis and Allies on a strategy level. For what it is, it does very well. So instead of rating it for what I wanted it to be, I will rate it on how well it does what it sets out to do, which is provide a slimmer, easier strategy element to the Empires series to capture new fans. Otherwise I would rate this game a 5 on letting long term fans down in a big way (Just like I felt they did on DW6).… Expand

    This is a new unique take on this game. Yes same location and characters but the maps get better every time. A new and fun combat system that is geared around special moves rather than button mashing. Over all I think it is great.

    Mowing down wave after wave of comatose fodder kills any chance of this game’s strategies having any meaning. An overhaul on the battlefield is sorely needed.
