    Ryder White is enjoyable company, bringing along more explosives than we're used to on Dead Island. There are still a lot of technical mistakes, just like there have always been. But hey, we're sure Techland will fix that with Dead Island 2, right? [March 2012, p.98]

    At £7.99 the Ryder White DLC will prove a hard sell for those who haven't already booked a timeshare in Banoi. Despite being fairly meaty in size the expansion lacks any sort of meta-game reward or replayability, not to mention the awkward integration and occasional issue with pacing.

    Takes away all of the elements that made Dead Island fun. No level up. That means no skill tree. Really difficult with no real payoff.Takes away all of the elements that made Dead Island fun. With that said, they missed plenty of opportunities to tie this in with the story arc of the main game. Worth playing if you picked up the GOTY edition, otherwise save your money.… Expand
