Critter Crunch is one of the more clever puzzle games I've played recently, and it has charm and personality to spare. The numerous modes grant it a longevity that makes the $6.99 asking price easy to justify even for the tightest wallets.
-
The game is cheerful about its grossness, but it’s cute enough to excuse the cheek (fuzzy Biggs’ booty-shaking victory dance especially).
-
With solid gameplay mechanics and the iconic character designs of Biggs and company, it's a game that belongs in any puzzle fan's digital library. Even if you could resist the adorable allure of Biggs, the price might stop you in your tracks. At only $6.99, Critter Crunch may very well be one of the best values in puzzle gaming you'll find this year.
-
For the low price of $6.99, given the large amount of content, it's hard to pass this one up. It's innovative, fun, and overall, a great gem to have in your collection.
-
Tight controls, gorgeous graphics and hard enough to keep you coming back for more. A genuinely fantastic little puzzle game.

Play UKOne of the PS3's best downloadable games. [Issue#188, p.87]
-
Critter Crunch is a charming, funny and extremely well-presented game with solid and engaging gameplay mechanics. There are issues with the multiplayer but for fans of puzzle games this is a must-have which will amuse and entertain you without ever becoming frustrating.
-
Critter Crunch is deceptively cute and cushy, but underneath the hood it's one of the most solid puzzle experiences you'll find on the PS3.
-
With a deep single-player mode, online multiplayer, and fun, challenging gameplay, Critter Crunch is one of the standouts in the puzzle genre this year that deserves your $6.99 to check it out for yourself.
-
This addictive puzzle game is lots of fun and comes loaded with dozens of adventure, puzzle, and challenge stages as well as local and online multiplayer gameplay. Best of all, it's super cheap!
-
Highly addictive.
-
Critter Crunch is one of the best puzzlers around, it's highly addictive and looks stunning. Anyone with a PS3 should own this title.
-
Adorable graphics and very solid gameplay mechanics create the best puzzler on the Playstation 3. The learning curve creates an increasingly difficult game, and sometimes it feels as if too many gameplay variables are introduced, but for the bargain price this is a must-buy for any puzzle-fan.
-
Pelit (Finland)A very pretty, charming and quite original action-puzzler. [Jan 2010]
-
One of the best puzzle games available on the market I've experienced.
-
It sets a new standard for graphics in the genre and is simply one of the best looking games on PSN. Luckily, it also has the gameplay to back up the looks.
-
Critter Crunch turns the traditional chain-crazy puzzle genre onto its organic head for a Tropicana of colors and need to feed, with enough substance to call it smart as well.
-
In the end, while Critter Crunch might not be the most unique puzzler available on PSN, the game's charming characters, stunning animation, and variety-packed gameplay makes it well worth the paltry asking price. Just don’t ask Biggs for food…you won’t like what he gives you.
-
It may be hard to swallow, but this former iPhone exclusive is easily the best puzzler found on the PlayStation 3.
-
PSM3 Magazine UKCrude, simple, and really good fun to boot. [Dec 2009, p.102]
-
Although appearances may be deceiving, don't judge too soon—Critter Crunch is a high-quality addition to the PSN library, and a must for PS3 puzzle fans with an internet connection. Just be ready to grit your teeth a bit towards the end.
