    Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011 may have some obvious flaws, like the inept plastic controller and some bug issues, but the overall charm and playful jibes at political correctness is quite refreshing. Video games are about living in a fantasy world, right, and where else can you wreak havoc on endangered species in such a vulgar fashion?

    Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011 it's not an hunting game, more likely an FPS. The story has major plot holes and the AI presents some major issues. Fortunately the galleries and the alternative game modes save it from a total failure.

    This trigger-happy safari may be too exuberant for its own good, but there's still some fun to be had in these hunts.

    It's in no way a bad game, especially once the Galleries are factored in, it's just not, at all, a good one. There was potential, and the campaign's story and mood are easily the best in any hunting game, but, in the end, it simply doesn't hit its mark.

    being a sorta deer hunter (havent gone in 10 years) i still enjoy the games and one of my favorites was Deer Hunter 2 on the PC, verybeing a sorta deer hunter (havent gone in 10 years) i still enjoy the games and one of my favorites was Deer Hunter 2 on the PC, very realistic . the cabela's hunting games have always been a mixed bag for me . this one just feels so ho hum and nothing like real hunting . you get a decent amount of guns and animals to hunt but you will just breeze through this game like nothing. it is basically 12 stages with 5-6 hunts per stage and each stage takes about 10-15 min to complete . so this game is by no means gona be a time suck unless you want to gold medal every hunt which i just about did my first run through .i picked the game up for about $17 new on sale and it feels like more of a $9.99 game after playing through it.… Full Review »
