That is what I was waiting for, since Death Rally and P.A.I.N. Even in Burnout 3: Takedown the crash events was what I liked most. Burnout: Crash is a very entertaining game which makes you highly addictive. "Just... another... round..." It's nothing for those ADHD-kids that only want shooter games with lots of killing spree. It is nothing for those kiddies that usually play action racing games; it is for us old school gamers and a great reminiscence of the good old times, where games should make fun, without being a job by themselves. Good job EA!! Expand

A lot of criticism has been given to this game, simply because it looks nothing like a Burnout. Play the game, before you throw your thoughts at it.

In Burnout Crash!, there is only one goal, and that's to destroy anything and everything. There are about 7 stages in the game, with 3 areas in each one. One thing about Crash! is the... controversial visual style. Personally, I like it, it

One thing about Crash! is the... controversial visual style. Personally, I like it, it makes the environments look colourful, and the explosions look satisfying. The simple aim of the game is similar to Burnout 3's Crash mode. You drive your car into a junction and try to cause as much damage as possible, not just to cars, but buildings, planes and more. There are three game types; Road Trip, Rush Hour and Pile Up.
In Road Trip, you have to make a set number of cars crash into each other, while not letting at least five cars escape (if you do, the crash is over). This mode is the main meat of the game, and completing this automatically unlocks the next junction.
In Rush Hour, you have 90 seconds to cause as much havoc as possible, with a massive explosion at the end giving you the chance for more points. You don't have to worry about traffic in this game mode, which makes this one of the easiest game types.
And in Pile Up, you have to make a set number of cars crash into each other, while trying not to make the explode, in order to rack up a lot of points in the final crash. Losing cars here decreases your multiplier, however. One thing about the game I can't stand is the voice acting. It has to be the WORST voice acting I have ever heard from a downloadable title. You get it every 10 seconds and it's not a factor of so bad it's good. It's just... bad. Luckily, it can be turned down, or off in the options. Also, the small amount of cars is a bit disappointing too. However, overall, I think this is a pretty fun game. Is it the best Burnout game to date? Don't be stupid. Is it worthy of the Burnout name? Kind of. But rest assured, if you're looking for a quick, but fun arcade-like game, at least try this out. You might be surprised.

There's some enjoyment to be had for a few hours, but this isn't the Burnout you've loved for the past decade. It's fun, and the little song soundbytes are addictive to hear, but unless you're desperate to 5* everything you're unlikely to return to the game after a week or so.

Honestly isn't worth your time. The game only has about ~6 hours of playtime and is just at it's core burnout 3's crash mode from a top down view with a few twists. It's in no way a full game and you'd get a better experience from literally any other burnout game (even the original.)

Really weak game, a pity that the Burnout series died in this crap here that looks more like a browser game. If this was a game with full focus on crash mode with camera and PS2 gameplay then it might be a better game

Was bad at launch, bad now. This game is a disgrace to the burnout series. Especially now. Just olay Danger Zone 2 if you want a crash mode game

Pretty dull. You'll grind rather than grin your way to victory in this limited ride. [Dec 2011, p82]

We've always been huge fans of the Burnout-series and we were hoping for a new installment. This isn't it, but nonetheless it is a masterfully crafted spin-off. [Nov 2011, p.98]

Don't expect much driving - the aim here is simply to cause the biggest pile-up. [Christmas 2011, p.87]
