Apr 28, 2014The most overated game in years. The story is interesting but, the characters were flat. The gameplay worked fine and there were no bugs but, it felt restricted, linear and dull. The graphics were good when it came to things being seen far away but, up close nothing is that impressive. It's an okay game but, one of the best games of all time, you HAVE to be kidding.

Nov 1, 2016Gameplay is pretty good, but story brings this game down. They've tried to make something that looks smart, but plot is actually full of holes and overused devices. Yonger gamers may found this attracrive, but adults most likely will be bored with it, so enjoy shooting.

Jun 23, 2017Unfortunately, I wasn't hooked into the Columbia world as I was with rapture. Mainly attributed to gameplay design choices, I feel that the world was, if anything, shoved down my throat with little enjoyment. Story was interesting enough, but similar to its gameplay, it fell into a state of repetition that ultimately became more an annoyance as the game progressed.

+ Graphics were outstanding for the PS3 era
+ Dialogue was well written and expertly voice acted
- Gameplay and gunplay felt lacking and tedious, especially compared to BioShock 2
- Story was a bit of a convoluted mess
- Enemies were unmemorable outside of Songbird -

Apr 2, 2014What an over-rated game this is, every body talks about the graphics of how wonderful they are, REALLY? I just don't appreciate a game that says that their characters are very human like, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? everything is like a bad drawing and the map limits on the player are simply ridiculous. It is a very GOOD and Complex Story that's why I don't give it a 0.

Mar 29, 2013most over rated game of the year. its not that great but maybe good and not even THAT good but also not bad for an FPS game. tbh, FPS is not my type of games but with all the hype and 10/10 scores here and there I decided to give it a shot maybe I'll like it and I was wrong. I wish I saved my money for other games like Resident Evil Revelations or The Last of Us... now there are def my type...

Mar 17, 2014The story in the game is confusing and half-baked, there is no chemistry in the characterisations, and the gameplay - that is, the shooting - is not fun at all, and is a slog to get through points A and B of the story. It has some nice art direction, but it also represents a lot of what is wrong with AAA titles.
