    Great game. Never had the chance to try it. But now here it is in HD. This game is still awesome comparing to current games. Great storyline, great characters, and the fantasy world is very well designed. Music is good and voice acting superb. Lots of things to collect. Few trophies though and no platinum.

    Great game. The characters really pulled me in, and I had a wonderful adventure. However there were times it felt like I really had to fight the camera, and some things can be irritating after a while (CARLSON AND PETERS!!) but overall highly recommended.

    I never played this on the ps2 or xbox so I don't know if this ones different but it is fun the combat is simple easy to pick up exploring the planet and taking pictures is fun to it doesn't tell you where to go sometimes which makes it hard at times but overall its pretty fun

    Beyond Good and Evil is one of those titles that acquire a huge reputation from hardcore gamers but wasn't a commercial hit (like Okami for example) and as we wait for the long time announced sequel we can enjoy this remastered version.

    Technically honestly the game doesn't look much better than the original therefore if you still have your copy and console the HD version isn't very    Beyond Good and Evil is one of those titles that acquire a huge reputation from hardcore gamers but wasn't a commercial hit (like Okami for example) and as we wait for the long time announced sequel we can enjoy this remastered version.

    Technically honestly the game doesn't look much better than the original therefore if you still have your copy and console the HD version isn't very interesting but at least the game has no bugs, and a steady framerate. Unfortunately the game also suffers from its camera during the fights which is probably the biggest flaw of the game and some fights are really messy.

    The rest of the game is awesome, the infiltration is clever, there is a lot of diversity during the game and you'll never get bored. The universe is enchanting and original with a rather clever story that will end a bit too soon, count 10 hours to finish the game at 100%, but boy you'll not see them pass.

    So all in all Beyond Good And Evil HD is still a wonderful game advisable for every one that didn't play it when it originally came out, if not it's really a great game to play with one of the best original universe created for a videogame,can't wait for the sequel.    … Expand

    Really!?! I thought this was supposed to be a classic. Sure, it has all the makings of a good game, but the controls are poor, the combat is sluggish, and the game design is terrible. It was initially touted as a "zelda for adults", though there is little here to keep you entertained. Outside of the main town (which is pretty limited) there is nothing much to explore or get involved with,Really!?! I thought this was supposed to be a classic. It was initially touted as a "zelda for adults", though there is little here to keep you entertained. Outside of the main town (which is pretty limited) there is nothing much to explore or get involved with, and the main quest sections are pretty sparse and extremely easy. I can see the potential, but even so its all a bit rubbish and has not passed the test of time well. Add to this that the game can be finished in a number of hours, with very little to come back for, makes it a disappointment.
    I know this game has its fans, all of whom are begging for a sequel. The basics are all there for a great action based adventure game, but the characters need more depth and the story needs more flesh if this could ever be a successful franchise    … Expand

    Awesome game!!! If you missed it years ago, now there's your chance to relive this great game. Good graphics (now in HD), nice voice acting, thoughtful gameplay and an epic story make this game something everybody has to play. Maybe we will get a sequel sometime. :)

    I didn't play the whole version but tried the demo. I have to say it seemed pretty lame. The combat was boring single button mashing without a lot of options for moves. Like I said I didn't play the whole game, I lost interest after about 10 minutes. After taking pictures of some animals I quit the game and deleted the demo.

    The HD update delivers. It has leaderboards, meaningful trophies, and the sharp cartoon graphics look recent, even impressive sometimes. The action is not so exciting, but the adventure part is almost a puzzle game by today's standard. This is from back when games didn't play themselves. You have to figure out lots of sections in the game. I suspect that's why the game stayed relativelyThe HD update delivers. The kids who were smart enough to figure it out didn't recommend it do their more impatient friends. Those ready for it can look forward to 10 hours of smart action adventure with lots of mini-games and secrets, in an almost Zelda-like smoothness of presentation and ambition. I was irritated more than a few times by mistakes I could not have foreseen. The last boss fight in particular allowed no shopping for health packs, so I went in unprepared. Those small things where the game suddenly screws you over, that's not cool. And much of the levels are located in rather dark and grey environments, despite the colorful and inviting 'overworld'/'hub'. I'd like to have played more in the colorful environments.… Expand

    The game is filled with interesting characters, great environment, nice voice acting and elegant gameplay. Although the plot is decent, the combat is very simple and doesn't have much dept. The camera is also terrible at some times and will get to your head. But overall, a must game for everyone.

    Unique game with great story which is its main draw. Artstyle is remarkable and so the characters. There's lots to do and also you can ride different vehicles, is sorta an adventure game, with stealth elements, some action (thats the weaker spot but still fun). Is a game with personality, recommended to play anytime, little replay value but a WORTHY experience.

    - Los gitches ocurren donde Jade puede estar flotando en el aire o atravesando las paredes que también pueden enviarte volando del nivel hacia la nada
    - Los controles de velocidad pueden ser algo difíciles de acostumbrar y pueden ser frustrantes
    - Hay algunos casos donde el juego se congela - ocurre principalmente al comienzo del juego y durante las sesiones de combate
    - El Guardado lleva un tiempo
    - El Valor de Repetición es Nulo
    - Los Gráficos a pesar de la Remasterizacion HD son bastante mediocres.
    - La jugabilidad es algo tosca y no se nota fluida.

    Beyond Good & Evil war das "Ocarina of Time" für die PS2. Denn genau so spielt sich das Abenteuer von Michel Ancer (Rayman) um Jade und Pey'j und ihrem Kampf gegen die bösen DomZ Aliens. Nein, tatsächlich spielt es sich gar noch besser, denn Ubisoft nimmt sich das Beste von Legend of Zelda - die großartig designten Dungeons, das automatische "Log on" Kampfsystem und die auflockerndenBeyond Good & Evil war das "Ocarina of Time" für die PS2. Denn genau so spielt sich das Abenteuer von Michel Ancer (Rayman) um Jade und Pey'j und ihrem Kampf gegen die bösen DomZ Aliens. Nein, tatsächlich spielt es sich gar noch besser, denn Ubisoft nimmt sich das Beste von Legend of Zelda - die großartig designten Dungeons, das automatische "Log on" Kampfsystem und die auflockernden Geschicklichkeitseinlagen - und kombiniert dies mit neuen Mechaniken, vor allem den knifflichen, aber nie unfairen Stealth Passagen, aber auch cineastische Actionsequenzen im Uncharted Stil. Das Ganze spielt sich dann auch noch so smooth und gut ausbalanciert, wie man es tatsächlich bisher nur von Zelda Spielen kannte.

    Dazu kommt eine Welt und ein Artdesign, das einfach nur so sprüht vor Charme und Witz. Jade und Pey'j, aber auch alle weiteren NPCs im Spiel, sind so charakterstark, witzig und charmant inszeniert, dass man dieses Spiel und seine Welt einfach ins Herz schließen muss. Das bewegende Ende der tollen Erzählung um die Heldin Jade trägt sicherlich auch dazu bei, dass Beyond Good & Evil ein Spiel ist, dass man nicht so schnell vergessen mag und nachdem die Credits über den Bildschirm liefen, am liebsten gleich wieder einlegen möchte.

    Mit dem HD Remaster für die PS3 hat man nun die Möglichkeit dieses, für mich beste Spiel der PS2 Ära nachzuholen. Durch das sehr stilisierte Artdesign des Originals, das übrigens damals bereits in 480p lief, ist das Spiel auch grafisch absolut in Würde gealtert und hat kaum an Reiz eingebüßt. Ubisoft arbeitet derweilen an einer Fortsetzung des Titels: Beyond Good & Evil 2. Mal schauen ob es diesmal mit einer Veröffentlichung auch klappt. Man soll die Hoffnung ja nie aufgeben.    … Expand
