Oct 6, 2013One of my favourite gaming experinces ever. Well done Rocksteady on delivering a proper sequel, it refines upon all of the features of Asylum, yet innovates the franchise into the Open World genre.

Nov 7, 2013As far as superhero games go, it doesn't get better than Batman Arkham City. People will try to copy, there will be more sequels, but this here, this is the real deal. Haven't played it yet? Where are you from, Mars?

Jan 6, 2014This game will be greatly enjoyed by both batman fans and those who are not. From beautiful graphics to a strong and interesting storyline, the player would be glued from the start to the finish of this game. The game play went very smoothly with no faults. Perfect details, fantastic characters and definitely one of the greatest games ever. A must for all batman fans

Jan 24, 2014If one of the best game of this generation, is indispensable like ir or not batman, the game is long, with thrilling story, with many interesting side quests where we will know many characters of batman universe, and multiple secret where we will discover a part of batman universe. Finally the game play is simple but profound. For me in the top 5 the games of ps3.

May 4, 2015I completed this game about 3-4 days after purchasing it and that doesn't mean it's a short game or anything; I just couldn't put the controller down.

Oct 8, 2014This is an excellent game in all respects; and ultimately is an achievement for the industry itself. The graphics, story, voice acting were all brilliantly executed; and this game features some of the best action gameplay of all time.

Jul 25, 2014I don't care how small the map is. The game is amazing. Beautiful Robotics, smart NPC's, a strong story, they made the character unforgettable (Especially The Joker) the combat is the best I've seen in a Super hero game. This game is a must have. Don't listen to the 125 dumbasses, who are giving this game low scores. They just wanted a big open world. Gameplay is what matters.

Jun 11, 2014Great!
My first game to be played on PS3, so I don't really know, if just this game is so great or all games on PS3 are :D Well I guess I'll have to find out on my own. But it looks great, the graphics are neet, the story looks sophisticated. I have high expectations! -

Aug 12, 2014One of the finest games on any platform this generation. Builds on what Asylum established and creates a phenomenal experience of what it's like to be the Bat. Literally dozens of hours of side stuff along with a great story and emotional finale. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Jul 14, 2020Batman Arkham City is without a shadow of a doubt the very best Batman Arkham game ever made. And I don’t think any other superhero game would top this as this game felt like The Dark Knight of all superhero games.
-
Jan 1, 2015Amazing game. I'm so excited for Arkham Knight. Honestly, it's not exactly my type of game, but it still caught my breath. After the story, there isn't much to do, honestly, but the campaign is great. Awesome storyline too. It's interesting how the amount of time taken to beat the game is about how long it is in the game.

Dec 30, 2014This game has the same great gameplay and dark setting as the first game and added an open world that's a lot of fun to explore and a story that grips you at every turn. This truly is a masterpiece.

Jan 28, 2015I am a die-hard Batman fan. I have a damn Batman tattoo on my leg. I am also an avid gamer. This isn't just the ideal Batman game, it was one of the best video games I have ever played period. Tremendous game that I have completed multiple times
-
Jan 29, 2015Arkham Knight has the potential to be even better than this game, and that says alot about how great this game was, so I hope Arkham Knight surpasses this game's greatness and becomes the best of them all so it can be the best way to out with the amazing Arkham trilogy.

Official PlayStation Magazine BeneluxDec 29, 2011Arkham City is the best reflection of the Batman-comic books ever. Not because of the sheer amount of famous enemies that challenge our hero, but thanks to the amazing atmosphere that oozes from every pore of this remarkable action game. [Nov 2011, p.70]
-
Nov 29, 2011All in all, outside of a few minor issues, I couldn't ask for a better Batman experience. If Arkham City was a graphic novel, it would be considered a classic.

Playstation: The Official Magazine (US)Nov 18, 2011Arkham City should be celebrated as a shining achievement for the action-adventure genre for its masterful execution. [Holiday 2011, p.70]
