This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is a shining encapsulation of everything people hate about anime.

The title seemed promising enough. Standard ruined world science fiction hook with a graphically interesting intro.

    Spoiler alert: This game sucks.

Evidently we're supposed to already be familiar with these characters. Or perhaps they're such cookie cutter cliches that we don't need any kind of introduction as to who they are. A major mechanic for the game is a dating sim seemingly designed for pre-adolescents, and they've wrapped that around an RPG with a preposterously weak system.

The wall of text method of exposition might not be so terrible if the characters weren't gifted with a depth of character rivalling earwax. To call this game puerile would be a disservice to the abstract concept of juvenile triviality.

I made the mistake of purchasing this game from the Playstation network, so I can't even return the game - bringing this experience to a total loss.

A highly disappointing game, no two ways about it.

It's a very vanilla title that doesn't do much to advance the series, but is definitely going to please the die-hard fans.

Ar Nosurge is an interesting game that suffers from a lack of tender love and care on the localizer's part.
