    Fans of the show will appreciate this title more, but I cannot even recommend playing past level 1 for even the hardcore.

    Ultimately, Afro falls into the same pitfalls as almost every other game based on a movie/television license: It presents an edited down version of a story that's familiar to fans but indecipherable to newcomers, wrapped up in a generic game housing. It looks great. It sounds great. But, otherwise, it's a mashup of characters and situations that makes little sense.

    Afro Samurai is a mess of a game. It's such a shame to see such a beautifully rendered and stylish world ground into the dust by such staggering gameplay foibles and technical glitches.

    Against the major ratings I'd highly recommend this game to any Hack'n'Slay-Fan. Graphics are simply beautiful and almost art-like, Samuel L. Jackson's Syncro is awesome and the strange story with all its sarcastic humor is brilliant. The combo-system is complex as well as the difficulty is very high, just the right thing to not get bored after 20 minutes. Worst things are the non-adjustable camera-setting as well as there's no online mode, but I guess that's all. For every Fan of samurai-games as well as mature humor give it a try and rent it. I bought it and had lots of laughs and hours of slashing-fun. I just cannot understand the overall-critics and I'm playing Rated-M-games for about 10 years now… Full Review »

    Afro Samurai — игра в жанре слэшера, разработанная Namco Bandai Games и базирующаяся на одноименной манге/аниме. Сюжет повествует о бравомAfro Samurai — игра в жанре слэшера, разработанная Namco Bandai Games и базирующаяся на одноименной манге/аниме. Сюжет повествует о бравом чернокожем парне, искусно владеющим мечом и задавшимся целью отомстить за смерть своего отца кучке «плохишей». Геймплей вполне традиционен для жанра и, в принципе, не предлагает ничего радикального.

    По мере прохождение, появляются новые враги, ниндзя, очень юркие враги. Элементы платформинга, а я с ним на "вы", и босы. Первый самый легкий, я думал тут все такие будут, как же я ошибался Босы тут это нечно, что только 6 брат стоит, я даже думал бросать прохождение, ибо имба какая то. Еще тут встречаются мишки, это хилки. А из коллектобалсов есть стая ворон, она открывает приемы, которыми я не пользовался.
    Хочется отметить очень красивые локации, пейзажи. Мы побываем как в умеренном климате, так в пустынном и наконец в холодном иии. в воздухе на высоте больше 6 тысячи метров! Самый запоминающийся уровень! И музыка там отпад, Fight Groove 5 может потому что битва с босом была приятной? Возможно! Ну и в аду побываем скажем так. Вообще мир очень напоминает онимушу, япония катаны, люди в броне, а на фоне роботы генераторы) Касательно этого уровня, с генератором то, я не понял, что от меня хотели, но там нужно было кидать пацанов в генератор чтоб его взорвать.

    Эпизод с мостом это феерия управление, да и чек поинтов тоже! Я не понимал куда идти, чтоб успеть! Вроде нужно бежать типа судя по камере, а не по персонажу, но это не точно. Самый приятный бой был с Афродроидом, он мне прям запомнился! С кумой тоже на 3 стадии было трудновато, но до 6 брата не дотягивает, тот знатно крови попил еще при первой-второй встречи. И наконец предконцовка, 3 боса по факту 2, вот тут как раз пригодится парирование пуль, а во воротом случае как вы хорошо усвоили уроки по борьбе с грузными противниками(6 брат), тут было уже побыстрее но все равно, я постоянно бегал и бил его в спину, рывком на протяжении 30 минут наверно, концентрация на пределе! Одна ошибка и 3 стадии заного(. А вот и концовка, то что я говорил про 6 брата не совсем правда, самый выносящий бос это Джастис(Справедливость) как я и говорил раньше в обзоре на аниме, чисто американец, с пистолетами, но не совсем у него больше 3 стадий, но благо с чек поинтами, иначе я бы не прошел( Но при этом я был подготовлен, научен, да и это было долгожданная концовка, поэтому я взял волю в кулак, и попыткой за попыткой методично продвигался вперед, и как же было приятно наблюдать титры, как будто какой то из солсов прошел!    … Full Review »
