ShawnR.Apr 1, 2002Call me kooky but there's just something about racing along a rooftop and blowing away vampiric swordsmen who run along the side of the wall below me.

CarlH.Jun 11, 2002With the special mode game this turns in to a very good game, but you do tend to have to repeat the game over and over to get the funnest parts of the game activate, but it is worth it.

Apr 5, 2018Cool level and enemy designs, good gameplay, excellent music, interesting story, an original way of handling the Vampire concept and the fact that it is a breath of fresh air compared to other games of the genre, this is one of my most beloved games from back in the day. I absolutely recommend this game.

With the reload option assigned to the bottom button, you can constantly reload as you shoot without moving the gun from the screen. This adds a whole new level of sweetness to the boss battles.

Play MagazineThe graphics, though slick, lack the sort of interest I expected and are actually quite bland. [Feb 2002, p.62]

You can't help but feel that Vampire Night is more of a step back in the genre as far as gameplay is concerned.
