    As soon as I saw you can taze people and bash thugs with a riot shield, I knew I had to buy this game. Even someone who doesn't enjoy action games will have loads of fun for hours. The huge selection of items and unlockables and loads of missions makes up for every problem the game has. Trust me, you will have a good time if you buy this game! It still holds up well even today

    Urban Chaos Riot Response doesn't try to be something it's not. The graphics are average and the gameplay is simple. What this game is though is fun. Simple and fun. In Urban Chaos you play as a riot response officer in a unit called t-zero that has been orginized to take back the city from the gangs. The story isn't much to speak of but once again that is not what makes this game good. This game plays like an average fps with a few cool twists. First of all the riot shield, which you recieve early in the game, is an essential tool and a lot of fun to bash people over the head with. It protects from litererally anything the enemies can throw at you but it you make invulnerbale as enemies tend to attack from all sides. You have a pretty large arsenal and can carry as many weapons as you please. You'll get a very handy pistol and tazor to start and get other such weapons as shotguns, assault rifles and oh chainsaws to use at your leasure. Though most of the weapons aren't essential they are a whole lot of fun to use. The main draw of Urban Chaos is the arcadic styled gameplay. The gameplay is chaotic and there is rarely a break from crazed mask wearing "terrrorists" charging at you with a meat cleaver or a chainsaw. The game doesn't shy away from the blood and it is every so satisfying to blow off an enemies head in mid-air and watch him crumple to the pavement with a steady stream of blood squirting from his neck especially in slowmotion. In every level you are tasked with trying to complete goals such as 10 headshots or 10 arrests and taking a gang leader alive. Completing these tasks helps you get medals and there a hell of a lot of medals to be won and they unlock new items and upgrades for your weapons. Throughout the game you'll also help out fireman and paramedics. Overall Urban Chaos is a perfect game to get your blood going during the slow ass summer season.… Expand

    I love this game - because it's a 'game', not trying to be an 'experience'. It's packed with collectibles and that gives an infuriatingly addictive feel. I don't get why people think it doesn't look that hot - I think these reviewers must be looking at too many Xbox 360 games in between their PS2 sessions.

    If you're looking for a highly satisfying shooter with a constant chaotic feeling, Urban Chaos: Riot Response is one very good choice. It may not have the technical perfection or history-value of some other shooters, but when it comes to fun, this game delivery the goods and shows itself as a really addictive experience.

    Definitely one of my favourite all time games.
    Playing as a law enforcement for once was quite the refreshment. Story may not be the best, but the brutality and action made up for that. Just legendary.

    this game is just another mindless shooter....what actually does make this SLIGHTLY worth while is that you can use a bunch of weapons ranging from meat cleaves to molotovs to sawed off shottys...they also give you a stun gun to shock guys which is pretty funny the first couple of times. you also get a riot shield which is good and bad...good:it can protect you from enemy attacks and alsothis game is just another mindless shooter....what actually does make this SLIGHTLY worth while is that you can use a bunch of weapons ranging from meat cleaves to molotovs to sawed off shottys...they also give you a stun gun to shock guys which is pretty funny the first couple of times. you also get a riot shield which is good and bad...good:it can protect you from enemy attacks and also serves as a weapon to beat people into submission..bad: it protects you from everything...let me say that again....EVERYTHING! once you get a sheild it's already over cause nothing can stop you...takes all the fun out..… Expand

    Ahh. The very first game developed by Rocksteady, the studio that went on to make the Batman Arkham Trilogy. Even for it's time, Urban Chaos is a mostly polished and enjoyable experience, despite the graphics looking very poor by today's standards. Though I will personally not buy this game, feel free to get it if you are a massive Rocksteady fan.

    Hace mucho años tenia la demos del juego , me parecía brutal . Paso el tiempo y me lo encontré en una tienda de segunda mano , no dude en comprármelo , me costo 2 euros XD . Sin ir mas lejos de realidad la demo era mucho mejor que el juego completo .

Response is such an underrated game, it’s got a great story with amazing gameplay sadly, though it does have some pretty forgettable characters, but the side missions are pretty good, and almost on par with call of duty black ops 2 side missions I will say though this game is incredibly difficult even on the normal difficulty. It’s still hard and you will die a number ofUrban chaos riot. Response is such an underrated game, it’s got a great story with amazing gameplay sadly, though it does have some pretty forgettable characters, but the side missions are pretty good, and almost on par with call of duty black ops 2 side missions I will say though this game is incredibly difficult even on the normal difficulty. It’s still hard and you will die a number of times, also, this game looks really outdated and it hasn’t aged very well, but overall this game is not half bad and if you ever come across this game, give it a shot.

    Unexpectedly cool and maybe best shooter for Playstation 2, comfortable controls, convenient to shoot/take cover/brutal hit with a shield, you can arrest with a taser, you can throw Axes/Molotov cocktails, normal graphics, in turn with shooting levels there will be - "burning buildings" levels, where will the fireman help us, a real forgotten gem, but, unfortunately, simplest    7,4/10

    Неожиданно крутой и, наверное, лучший шутер для Playstation 2, удобное управление, удобно стрелять/укрываться/брутально бить щитом, можно арестовывать тазером, можно кидать топоры/коктейли Молотова, нормальная графика, в очереди с перестрелочными уровнями - будут уровни "горящие здания", где нам будет помогать пожарный, настоящая забытая жемчужина, но, к сожалению, простейший сюжет/персонажи, и, локации, которые к середине игры надоедают.
    p.s. Забавный факт, что это может быть сиквелом "Urban Chaos" 1999 года, который также был издан Eidos Interactive, но связи между играми нет.    … Expand

    A long time ago that one was a chance find which surprised me, because no one talked about it besides its good quality. I really liked the soundtrack and the scenario. The mechanics and graphics make it to one of the best PS2 FPS. For all who search for an excellent FPS from this console generation this one is definitely worth a look.

    Me encanta la saga Arkham de Rocksteady, aquí empezaron sus andaduras. Pero desgraciadamente este juego no consigue encandilarme, me pareció un shooter genérico de bajo presupuesto sin mucho que ofrecer... Salvar al rehén mientras acribillas a disparos al terrorista quizás sea su mayor punto fuerte que consigue darle un poquito de personalidad, usar un escudo antidisturbios y un taser,Me encanta la saga Arkham de Rocksteady, aquí empezaron sus andaduras. Pero desgraciadamente este juego no consigue encandilarme, me pareció un shooter genérico de bajo presupuesto sin mucho que ofrecer... Salvar al rehén mientras acribillas a disparos al terrorista quizás sea su mayor punto fuerte que consigue darle un poquito de personalidad, usar un escudo antidisturbios y un taser, pero aparte de eso, poca variedad de armas, enemigos que se repiten en su diseño.     Envelheceu como vinho, permanece tendo uma excelente jogabilidade e gráficos muito bonitos. Absolutamente divertido, um dos melhores jogos de tiro já feitos!

    First person shooter involving a riot response squad that's a little bland to look at, but is quite well done on the whole and has plenty of side challenges to add to its replay value.

    Very good game, with tons of options for combat and a fun multiplayer. Had a ton of fun with it as a teen.
