    This game is inspired by a great movie from the 70s. I liked the movie a lot and the game depicts the story prior and during the events of the movie. It has harsh language for today's standards and a lot of ruthless violence. The graphics are not good, also compared to GTA San Andreas. Nevertheless I had fun with it.     Have played this on and off for the past 16 years. Amazing splitscreen experience and single player experience. Indeed, my favourite video game of ALL time. #1.

    I recently played on PlayStation 4, thanks to PlayStation Store. Timeless game. I think that due to copyright issues, unfortunately we cannot expect new versions, which is sad. It should be incorporated in some way into the GTA universe.

    So let me start this off with saying I played this on PS4 and also I’ve never watched the movie but I had this game in my backlog so I decided to give it a try since I heard good things about it. So this is kinda like a prequel to the movie and leads into it as well the game holds up quite well with the graphics it still looks good honestly. The combat is really fun sometimes and I enjoyed the characters and the story but their are some negatives, sometimes the combat gets chaotic when their are too many enemies on screen and it’s hard to keep up with what’s going on, also I hate the cop sections where you have to rescue your group or get away their just frustrating and really annoying especially with the gameplay mechanics to escape. I found myself nearly taking off the game a couple of times also the tagging and robbing or mugging mechanics where annoying at best, their are some sections of the game where you have to run away from enemies or vehicles and those parts looked cool. Overall I’m glad I stuck with the game until the end and honestly I kinda feel like giving the movie a try as well.… Expand

In addition, there are some "Manhunt"-style stealth segments that appear in the game.     An excellent game released by Rockstar Games, one of the best games in its genre. The game tells us about a gang named "The Warriors" in Coney Island and who solved their problems by hiring more and more fighters and expanding the territory of the gang.

    A fun rockstar game. As I've written in my other reviews, I like good co-op games. And this was a nice game too. Wasn't much tough, but liked the game in general. Free roam's area was not that big, so that was a negative point, and there were not much things to do in free roam. Still, give it a try if a fan of co-op games.

    Rockstar oblige, le mauvais goût général est omniprésent et bassement provocateur. De même, l'interface et le maniement sont nuls, le jeu n'est pas beau et son intérêt est inférieur ou égal à zéro. Un jeu qui fait pitié et qui ne mérite qu'un zéro pointé.

    The Warriors, feels like back to 70's. awesome game, with good graphic for PS2 console, friendly control, nice storyline, good voice acting. But lack of side quest.

    Having played this through once when it came out and again just a few weeks ago, I can say this game is definitely a classic. First of all, if you're fan of the film, you will love this. It has kept the atmosphere and managed to get all the original cast to reprise their roles. The whole game can be played in 2p co-op. Content is very mature to say the least, so if you're sensitive about violence and swearing, you will be offended. If your a fan of the film you'll especially love it as familiar faces and gangs appear throughout too. The last boss battle it's pants, but getting there is so much fun who cares?     I remember playing this a while back and having a blast with it. It has chapter that wernt even in the movie which adds to the gameplay (which is excelent) The storytelling is very good ass well is the voice acting with most of the original cast. The gameplay is nonstop fun, it never gets old you can be whatever gang you want, create a gang with whoever you want and when your done with theI remember playing this a while back and having a blast with it.     At first The Warriors was alright, but it seems that the more you play it, the BETTER it gets!!! For 10 months straight approx. I played The Warriors & only The Warriors. Rockstar Games have truly created a miracle! Thank -You Rockstar Chris!

    I thoroughly enjoyed the game and could fully get into the story line of it. I also enjoyed the bonus missions and the bonus objectives within the missions. The only bad thing about the game is that it didn't go on for longer. I have played it many times and have completed 100% of the game and I greatly appreciate the creativity and imagination of the game creators for makinh levels I thoroughly enjoyed the game and could fully get into the story line of it.     This game is addictive and really fast paced but if you don't like violence and you''re an anti drugs kinda guy than let's just say this really isn't going to be your type of game. The action in this games is seriously meaty but the only things the game doesn't have is the abbility to drive cars and the usage of guns.

    i am shocked to see you young children playing this game my son showed me this game and wen i saw it he was stabing someone with a knife and it swears to much this is wat causes young people to have under age sex and take drugs and resort to violence.

    I may be one of the only tru youth that injoy the movie as much as the people of it's generation. I thought the gane was fantastic and had an exellent prequal to the movie and then just blew my mind when it filled in some of the blanks into the story.     Engaging storyline, flawless squad combat, and the ability to use almost anything as a weapon. Manhunt meets GTA in an amazing game that made me remember why I bought my PS2 in the first place.

    The game is too short and only offers repetetive gameplay and a story that barely lifts of the ground. there is some enjoyment in beating down the police and thugs but how far can that really take it? A mediocore game with glitches throughout and a weak dialogue.
