Pelit (Finland)The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is a suprisingly good looking actionadventure. Too bad the controls are odd and clunky - a PS2 is not a Wii. It's also over too quickly. [Sept 2008]
-
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor isn't without its charms, but it's hard to believe that the younger target audience will wade through the difficulty spikes to see the convoluted narrative to its conclusion.
-
Plagued by a series of problems that go way beyond the awful controls, the action just isn’t fun or rewarding enough to keep gamers wanting to see this through to the end.
-
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor has all the right elements, yet it still manages to do everything wrong.
-
It's an infuriatingly unbalanced, unpolished and underwhelming experience that nobody -- not even fans of the movies -- should spend money on.
-
There is no way anyone can justify buying this when Tomb Raider: Anniversary can be bought for a third of the price.
-
Sierra couldn't have picked a more forgettable swan song than an adaptation of the latest iteration in the blandly epic Mummy franchise that's as dull to look at as it is to play.
