    Doesn't even come close to Tekken Tag, a few steps backward for the series IMO. It has a couple cool new characters and the 3d arenas are ~okay~ but just dont feel like Tekken. Rental.

    It's a highly disappointing sequel in a great series. Dare I say, they've broken Tekken? Maybe I won't go that far, but it's definately not the pinnacle of the series like I was hoping for. The 3rd dimension is not really incoorporated into the gameplay and strategy. Side stepping is too slow, and ineffective. T4 is also in dire need of some longevity. The 1 player It's a highly disappointing sequel in a great series. Dare I say, they've broken Tekken? And once again the computer AI puts up a pathetic fight. Another disappointment is the Jennifer Lopez look-alike character. She's really just Eddy with a different skin.     Great game but as the critics say, not much innovation. Needed more new characters, and I'm ticked they changed Jin so much. VF4 is a better game.

    Unlike the other Tekken games, this game has nothing fantastical about it. It's all too realistic. Though bashing people into things is fun. This is a Tekken game, except without all of the things thank you think Tekken should have.

    Desde mi punto de vista este es el peor Tekken hasta la fecha, si bien es agradable el cambio de look de personajes como Jim, King o Paul, no puedo comprender lo mal optimizado que esta el juego, el uso de rebotes es abusivo, los luchadores son en extremo toscos, los ataques perdieron mucha cantidad de poder, graficos feos y música genial, inclusión de personajes nuevos algunosDesde mi punto de vista este es el peor Tekken hasta la fecha, si bien es agradable el cambio de look de personajes como Jim, King o Paul, no puedo comprender lo mal optimizado que esta el juego, el uso de rebotes es abusivo, los luchadores son en extremo toscos, los ataques perdieron mucha cantidad de poder, graficos feos y música genial, inclusión de personajes nuevos algunos interesantes y otros no. un juego solo acto para los mas fans o colección por lo demás salten directamente al tekken 5… Expand

    This game is pretty fun but I might have soft spot for it. This game cares for the characters lore and gives you good stories to play-throw. The stages are pretty nice with good music in them. Making me wish for some stages return. Tekken 4 migh have also the best Tekken force mod to play-throw. The new characters are very good addition to the roster, and are here to stay.

    The main problems are:
    Jin being brokenly overpowered (again like in T3).
    Kazuya being bad (EWGF only lunching on counter hit).
    Wall infinite combos.
    Few characters missing from the roster.

    For me this is not really important since pro stage moved to the newest game and this game should be enjoyed causally anyway. Casually, the game delivers. Personally, I would give this game 10/10, but I need to remember about this game problems so I give it a 7.    … Expand

    It's not one of the best but for fun. the background music in all stages is horrible none of it pleases me and heihashi looks like a sumo wrestler. lol

    Feels stale and rehashed. In a lot of ways, this is pretty much the same game we've been playing since 1997, but without the refinement of "Tekken 3" or the added team complexity of "Tekken Tag Tournament." [Oct 2002, p.190]

    I have to say that I personally liked this better than "VF4," but they were both a bit disappointing overall.
