  1. If you ever get the tricks down (and we're still trying), the game could be fun, although it's no "Tony Hawk," which it tries to emulate in style and form.
  2. Nothing but flimsy filler hiding beneath the radical facade.
  3. Not only does it look gorgeous, but it does a remarkable job of bringing the surfing experience home. Unfortunately, it also brings the frustration and lack of variety that straight surfing brings, which leads to its inevitable failure in the fun category.

This hastily assembled, disposable piece of plastic tries to surf, as it were, entirely on the cool little surfboard add-on that's used to control the rider, but it wipes out early and often.

Despite its cool premise and rockin' soundtrack, Surfing H3O is nothing but a water-logged train wreck because of its meager gameplay mode selection, horrible graphics, and awful control.
