The controls are dead-on perfect, but somewhere along the way, someone forgot to take advantage of the PlayStation 2’s processing power—something that’s readily apparent in the sights and sounds.
  2. Poor translations and horrible voice-acting aside, Super Bust-A-Move 2 is a fun and often frantic game that should be a part of any puzzle game fan's library.

But why only 2 players? [Nov 2002, p.52]

If you happen to be a huge fan of the series, I'm certain you'll appreciate the small additions and changes. [Dec 2002, p.123]
  5. There are enough new features to ensure that the game is more than just a stagnant rehash, and the sheer depth of options is enough to keep the experience fresh for a long time - certainly long enough to get your money's worth and more.
  6. One of the best puzzlers to ever grace a console, and almost a must-have party game.
  7. There's not much to complain about, but also little to laud.

It has the classic Bubble Bobble game play and the new edit feature is nice. I give it an 8 because its pretty much the same as Super Bust-a-Move.

This game is alright. I guess I prefer the old version one better. This new one's color and graphics look too colorful, especially when This game is alright. I guess I prefer the old version one better. This new one's color and graphics look too colorful, especially when the firework jump out... OMG... I couldn't see the those bubbles at all! In my years of gaming, never have I seen such a perfect, polished classic as the Bust-A-Move series.
