    Great game. The story is decent. The scoring is great, visual is really amazing, the voice & sound is also amazing

    I don’t care if it’s nostalgia or not this is a great game. Just like GTA III this game set the stage for future games. The swinging is so fun. I caught myself just swinging around the open world for like 30 minutes. Most people take this game too seriously. Yes the voice acting is bad , especially Toby Maguire’s performance. But honestly this game is kinda funny. The ragdoll physics mixedI don’t care if it’s nostalgia or not this is a great game. Just like GTA III this game set the stage for future games. The swinging is so fun. I caught myself just swinging around the open world for like 30 minutes. Most people take this game too seriously. Yes the voice acting is bad , especially Toby Maguire’s performance. But honestly this game is kinda funny. The ragdoll physics mixed with the voice acting can be really funny at times. If you watch that last couple of cutscenes you would know what mean. I grew up with this game. I used to play it with my brothers almost everyday. The game just puts me in a good mood. And omg don’t even start on that pizza side mission. This game is just a great time and you should definitely give it a try.… Expand

    A hugely fun game that has plenty of things to see, places to go, items to collect and people to save. Web swinging is exhilarating if a little irritating at times. Combat is frantic and fast, with numerous moves and combos available. The game expands on the movie by adding new storylines and characters (Black Cat, Shocker, Mysterio etc). Spierman 2 is a great take on the open-worldA hugely fun game that has plenty of things to see, places to go, items to collect and people to save.     Одна из лучших игр про паука. Сюжет дополняющий оригинальных фильм, разнообразные дополнительные активности. И даже гонки в данной игре очень интересные и как никак появляется желание их пройти. А арена с кучей врагов - отдельный шедевр, именно на ней боёвка второго паука раскрывается на все 100%.Одна из лучших игр про паука.     This game holds a special place in my heart. It was the first, imo, truly great superhero game, and it remained one of the GOATs for the better part of two decades which is pretty insane. It hasn't aged well considering how fantastic of a job Insomniac has done with the new Spider-Man games, but for it's time? This game was a masterpiece and one of my favorites ever.

    - The balance, although it is technically good and realistic, making you feel like Spider-Man, can be improved, because sometimes it is uncontrollable, and I spent most of it in the game crashing into walls or losing half of my life due to the non-character he threw a web, which is added in Marvel Spider-Man on ps4.

    In summary, it is a game that you can enjoy, fun and exciting to spend time swinging around the city, but the same could not be said with the secondary missions and some main ones.    … Expand

The web slinging while I like Insomniac’s version more, gives more creativity of what you can do and fall damage just ups the thrill. The story (while mostly being the same) adds on to the sam legendary Sam Raimi film, with other Spidey characters makingThis game is a great Spider-Man game let alone an amazing video game period.     Spider-man 2 one of the best combat Spidey games ever made next to Web of Shadows. You get a slow down time special i.e. your spidey reflexes and you get a ton of moves and the story is awesome. Love this game and will beat it many more times.

    this game is IMPECCABLE, the open world of the game is sensational, the side missions of the game are very fun, the story mode is VERY GOOD !! it is a game that is difficult to find defects.

    One of the best Spiderman games for sure, an open world videogame based on the sequel Spiderman 2 with Doctor Octopus as the main villain, incredible game.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game truly is fantastic fun! Back in the day of 2004, the golden age of gaming and gaming alike the "open-world." swinging around the city, beating the **** out of thugs and pizza time, & being able to laugh at Bruce Campbell's Dialogue. Makes this game a genuine 2004, a classic on the PlayStation 2 Nintendo GameCube & Original Xbox. :)

    Still, the story does at times, have its points of Spider-Man trying to keep his identity hidden from Harry Osborne, who believes Spider-Man killed his dad but honestly his dad killed himself: Spoiler Alert: ending Peter kisses Mary Jane-Watson and date's "the girl next door the girl I loved. Because love is tricky when you live your life behind a mask, fate handed me incredible powers; still, there's only one Spider-Man."

    Overall, five stars, no questions asked, and I couldn't have done better myself and never could you! The year 2004 is the best, and I wish we could have more the best years like it. 10/10 year! :P That one reviewer GenuineBruv2021 suck's hairy balls etc.    … Expand

    Big shoutout to Tobey Maguire for giving so much life and soul to Peter Parker. I can't imagine anyone else doing so well like he did.

    Spider Man is one of those heroes that you love not just because of his superhuman abilities, but because Peter Parker is such a relatable character.

    This game I played it back when I was in middle school and it was a blast to beat, of course in 2019 the graphics don't really stand up to today but it was super fun beating up the shet out of thugs and the combos you could make were unreal and awesome to pull off! With Spider-Man ps4 doing justice for what Spider-man 2 was and improving this game is a legend to remember and praise. GG

    Spider-man 2 is great! The web swinging physics are superb. The story is great as well. But it just gets a bit repetitive with the hero point missions.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Most movie tie in games feel rushed but spider-man 2 for the PlayStation 2 does not feel very rushed. Okay so the best thing about this game is Bruce Campbell he does an amazing job as the narrator. The swinging is also amazing. The combat is good, the bosses are great and story is really good too. The side missions are boring that is a problem. Spider-man 2 for the ps2 is a great game I recommend it to anyone who has not played it.… Expand

    This is, by far, the best spider-man video game I've ever played. They say video games made from movies have a curse but I disagree because this was (and definitely still is by the way) a master piece. Activision should do a remaster or consider going back to its roots at list a little bit cause I miss spidey..

    One of the most unique Spider-Man games and even after 12 years still hanging the best one. Web swing is fun and the combat isn't button mashing. The Missions are although similar to the film. They are drastically changed. The game expands towards the film and performance by shocker and mysterious is phenomenal. Voice acting is pulled out from the movie actors and is great. The upgrade system is unique and well though out. Web Upgrades, momentum upgrades, combat upgrades, etc. There are side missions that you have to do to progress though out the game and does get a bit repetitive it goes by pretty fast and is enjoyable. The wall climbing and jumping was a huge step up from previous titles. Your jump was more controlled. You could go really high or just high. Overall I would give Spider-Man 2 on the PS2 a 8.5/10. There is no chance of a remastered game as its licensed. There are also some glitchs however they can be ignored.… Expand

    Thought I'd just add this was an absolute childhood favourite of mine and one of my favourite games back then, let alone one of the best in the Spider-Man series. Great game, I can remember shelling out hours upon hours outside of the story mode because that's how much I enjoyed the freedom to move out and about unlike the first Spider-Man (which was also a great game). Seeing as my PS2Thought I'd just add this was an absolute childhood favourite of mine and one of my favourite games back then, let alone one of the best in the Spider-Man series. Great game, I can remember shelling out hours upon hours outside of the story mode because that's how much I enjoyed the freedom to move out and about unlike the first Spider-Man (which was also a great game). Seeing as my PS2 died several years ago, I might consider getting another just to play this again and bring back the nostalgia. Awesome game.… Expand

    As far as movie licensed games go this was a very good game! Very heavily inspired by the PS2 era of GTA games, but without the violence/car theft and with Spidey instead to save the day! New York City is all open world and you must do missions whilst web slinging across New York skyscrapers. You can basically go anywhere! Very good game.
