Cheat Code CentralIts appeal is limited to a select audience who will appreciate it for exactly what it is: a trip down the blast processing memory lane. And if you know just what the heck "blast processing" refers to, you're a hardcore oldtimer and should reward yourself with this cool collection.

Despite its exclusions, though, Collection's large selection of titles for $19.99 is a tough thing not to recommend to anyone who calls himself a gamer. Even if a few of the games undeniably suck.

You can't find a better deal than 20 games for 20 dollars. While not every Sonic game is a winner, the majority are. These games, though old, are superior to Sega's more recent 3D Sonic offerings.

Obviously not every game on this disk is going to score a winner with every player and some Sonic games are renowned for being bad but nobody can grumble about what is on offer here. A must for any serious gamer.

Has a number of fantastic games on it that will have you coming back for more every so often, but these games have been released in previous collections already, and the omission of Sonic CD (considered the best Sonic to date) and Knuckles & Chaotix, while expected, is a letdown.

However this collection also gives you an insight into some of the Sonic games that some players wished would disappear. While the emulation is spot-on for the games, having to put up with a black bar around the screen could be upsetting to some.

Even with its shortcomings, it's still one of the most value-packed classic compilations available for any system -- as long as you like Sonic.
