    There’s a little Crimson Skies, a little Starfox, and even some Diddy Kong Racing. They took a bunch of good ideas from those titles and assembled a rock solid action game for the younger set.

    Yet another cutesy game that is veiling the usual raison d'etre of video games — killing — and isn't anything new. Peanuts characters should soften the blow of the dropping biplanes, but really, maybe you should pick up a later volume of those complete Peanuts collections, and show your children a true work of art.

    This game perfectly captures the light-hearted fun of Snoopy's adventures as 'The World War I Flying Ace' presented by Charles This game perfectly captures the light-hearted fun of Snoopy's adventures as 'The World War I Flying Ace' presented by Charles Schulz in the "Peanuts" comic strip and seen on TV in the Peanuts Halloween special, "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" The facts as presented in those works are perfectly represented here, but to make it playable you need something more... 'The Red Baron' von Richtofen commands a military force primarly composed of a flight squadron of bi-planes known as 'The Flying Circus'. The Red Baron's military also incudes PT style boats, dirigibles, U-boats, tanks, robotic drones, and more including "walkers" and "drillers". Snoopy flies his legendary Sopwith Camel, keeping the world safe for Peanuts; each and every one of us. This game preserves the slightly absurd humor that one needs to appreciate a beagle WWI pilot. Game vehicles are comical versions of familiar craft. Charlie Brown and most other known characters fly bi-planes, but Schroeder has a Wright Flyer, Peppermint Patty's nerdy pal Marcie appropriately flies an Auto-Gyro. In concept and presentation this game is just as it should be. This game only supports two players, but those two players will have a great time playing "Snoopy Vs. The Red Baron" on PS2… Expand
