-
A breath of fresh air and certainly a game any tennis fan or PS2 owner shouldnt be without.
-
Good but not great, Smash Court doesn't need much to evolve into an awesome tennis game.
-
Some clumsy colouring on the USA courts also means the ball can often get lost on screen making returns a gamble. Add in waif-like character models and it can often become a chore to keep an eye on the action.
-
While Smash Court isn't quite as polished or deep as "Virtua Tennis," there's still plenty of fun to be had with this game.
-
The so-so visual and sound package contributes to the middling quality of the game, too.
-
Official U.S. Playstation MagazineThis is so pick-up-and-play that it's perfect for first-time gamers. [May 2002, p.102]
-
PSM MagazineThe game seems a bit slow in the response department. [May 2002, p.26]
