For those that enjoy karaoke, fans of the SingStar franchise, and who love the majority of the pop tunes identified above, SingStar Pop Vol. 2 is a solid purchase especially if you haven’t picked up a PS3 yet.
-
As a fan of the series, I'm just not behind this one. There aren't that many great tracks, I feel like I've been here before, and there are other singing games on the market that are outperforming this title.
-
The SingStar franchise needs to rethink song lists. There are some new titles upcoming that might offer more variety than this one does.
-
A weak track list sinks this SingStar.
-
If you like the music and are already a SingStar fan, then chances are you're going to get a kick out of this expansion pack. If you don't like the music then maybe another one of the dozen or so SingStar games is better suited for you!
-
If you have all the SingStar PS2 games at home and you’re a fan of the series then this game will surely find it’s way into your game collection - but don’t expect anything other than 30 new songs to add to your collection.
-
Aside from the new tracks, SingStar: Pop Hits 2 is the same old song and dance.
-
Karaoke fans probably won't mind, but without more songs count and variety, this one can't hold the tune.
-
At any rate, your best bet is to choose your game by track list. Pop Vol 2’s 30-track lineup is listed below. It’s strong, though we’d suggest it commits the series’ typical sin of trying to appeal to fans of too many genres.
-
Your interest in the tracks will ultimately determine if you need to pick this one up, as there are no universal must-haves included.
