Monumental, legendary, introspective, awesome in every way, beautiful, reflexive, mysterious, addictive, awe-inspiring... One of my all-time favorites.

That was a freaking great game back in the day, I couldn't even believe what I was sawing when I played it for the first time. Fumito Ueda really did something, and inspired a lot o people with his work.

Rather oddball adventure in which you search a largely empty landscape to find a series of huge creatures you must defeat in turn to progress. Really just a glorified series of boss fights, SOTC is wonderful to look at but ultimately left me rather cold.

The grand designs of each colossus and the physics-based combat system make every battle in Shadow of the Colossus feel like a desperate struggle against an impossibly powerful foe. The battles are too forgiving, which undercuts that feeling of overcoming an enormous obstacle.

I have to give games that introduced something never done before and just knocked it out of the park. It could have had more story, but that would have taken away form the allure of the unknown. A wonderful new approach to combat mechanics. You must play this game once. Probably in my top 10-15 games of all time.

Really fun game though it's short. It's a shame they cut a bunch of content because i'd love to play more. After playing the ps2 version I had to play the remake.

Se eu pudesse dar uma nota maior, com certeza eu daria. Esse jogo é simplesmente maravilhoso. Esse foi o primeiro jogo que zerei depois de muitos anos e com certeza quem começa a jogar não vai querer parar.

I can say without a doubt that this is the magnum opus of video games and the proof that video games can be art and have an artistic desire.

Shadow of the Colossus is a PS2 masterpiece. It's a triumph of visual artistry and packs an emotional wallop through mainly images. Gameplay-wise, it's very simple and can even get a little repetitive. Your goal is to hunt down 16 mystical creatures, but first you must find them with a "compass" of sorts. There is some platforming before you engage in a battle with a massive and majestic monster. Ultimately, the game comes down to being a series of boss fights. But it's an outstanding looking game with beautiful barren vistas and fantastic creature design. Unfortunately, the game has a framerate that chugs when you . But despite it's shortcomings, this is one breathtaking game. I would rate it with a 9.1 out of 10. Expand

Una obra Maestra de los videojuegos, Fumito Ueda demuestra que los videojuegos son Arte. Creando un mundo y unos personajes increíbles, la historia y las sentimientos que transmites es fascinante.

Shadow of the Colossus leaves a void in your heart after finishing it, because even today there is no game that comes close to what that journey was.

This film noir portrait of corruption and morally-compromised obsessions stars Welles as Hank Quinlan, a crooked police chief who frames a Mexican youth as part of an intricate criminal plot. Charlton Heston plays an honorable Mexican narcotics investigator who clashes with the bigoted Quinlan after probing into his dark past. A memorable

    Actual Review:
While I do have issues with this game such as a few of the colossi sucking, the camera being obnoxious at times, the horse controlling poorly, the story not connecting with me, some technical issues, and the completion process being miserable (SERIOUSLY DO NOT COMPLETE THIS GAME!!!), it's still mostly enjoyable and I'd still recommend giving it a try, i swear! Especially on the PS4. Mainly because the strong parts of this game are really strong. The OST is great, the atmosphere made the game more immersive, and most of the colossi are wonderful to fight. These things alone makes finishing this game at least once worth it. They doesn't erase my frustrations with this game and I won't be coming back to it for a long while but check this one out. Just be prepared for some annoyances that may come your way.

It was a very good game with music and bosses. I was very angry at some parts. All in all it was a quality game. I think you should play the remake version. More suitable for today.

I seriously wanted to love this game, and find it one of the best soundtracks of any videogame ever made to this day. But, the terrible controls and extreme difficulty to reach and battle many of the colossi made it impossible for me to enjoy the game and unable to finish it.

A maior prima da sexta geração e um dos melhores jogos já feitos. Tanto em cenário, ambiente, "vibe", quanto em gameplay. Master-piece.

This is, with no shadow of doubt, one of the best games ever developed. It is so simple, yet so deep. A speechless adventure, breath taking views and moments. 16 different bosses, no NPC's. I must say, it was daring, and they did it. Certainly a must play.

If you can appreciate artistry in games, if you hanker for an experience that transcends genre, if you want to see what happens when a creative design team is allowed to ignore sales numbers and flavor-of-the-month trends, by all means bring yourself into Shadow's world. [Oct 2005, p.98]

A truly unique experience that inspires emotions in a way few games can. It has its share of problems, but I love it just the same. [Oct 2005, p.130]
  3. It's unlike anything else you've ever played, and so you may love it or you may hate it. Count me firmly in the "love" boat. [Nov 2005, p.142]
