  1. Roadkill is the s---. Its combination of vehicular-action and mission-based gameplay make it one of the most well designed cross-genre titles of the year.

There’s a huge arsenal of weapons available for you to maul your enemies with and running over pedestrians to see the fantastic rag doll physics and, of course, the huge splatters of blood, is great fun.

Doubts aside, if you're after a quality shoot-'em-up that's as filthy as you like then Roadkill is for you.

This game isn't innovation in any way but instead takes what it considers to be some of the best elements of other games and rolls it into one package - basically the same way Quentin Tarentino patches together his movies.
  5. 80
Detailed textures and a fast frame rate let you savor the disturbing damage, and the precise controls never fail.
  6. The blue language may be a bit sophmoric and the gameplay a little repetitive, but the game features high production values: a solid vehicular combat engine, well produced cutscenes and excellent music.
  7. A deep, well written, good-looking and designed game that comes close to the greatness of any of the games it imitates.
  8. I'm no prude, but the thing that spoiled Road Kill for me was the fact that it tries too hard with the adult content. I'm fine with swearing in games, but here, it seems gratuitous. [Nov 2003, p.138]
  9. Good mindless fun, but don’t expect an incredibly deep game. Also, it is VERY mature, so beware.
  10. 77
The game is wide-open, the areas are fun to explore, and there are some truly funny moments along the way. One thing to note, though: this game earns all of its M-rating. It's a capital M. There is more gore, rough language, and general disrespect for humanity in this game than in most prisons.
  11. Average graphics and an almost synthetic boost to be more mature than "Grand Theft Auto III/Vice City" has made this game something people may not want to pick up. That's not to say the game is horrid, but if it had something original to give the player I might be a bit more lenient on it.
  12. If you think the idea of a game about driving around in a machine-gun-toting car while completely ignoring traffic laws and blowing away anything in your path sounds like fun, then you'll get it out of RoadKill.

The game is very repetitive and difficult, but it has good graphics and good destruction physics. But nothing impressive
