  1. If you enjoy strategy gaming, then Nobunaga’s Ambition is one of those games you should own on your PS2/PS3. The game is very deep and involved and one of those series you can play for months and still enjoy it just like it is a brand new game. This is a must buy for fans of the series and a rental for everyone else who is looking for something new.
  2. Iron Triangle doesn't attempt anything especially new, but it does what it does so well that it's well worth spending a year trying to finish everything.

Nothing revolutionary, no, and more than a little familiar to fans of the series, but still very, very good.
  4. While The Iron Triangle may not seem like it’s for everyone, with a little bit of patience and trial and error, even an action hero could rule the world.
  5. Nobunaga's Ambition: Iron Triangle is for the hardcore gamer willing to take on all strategy games, not just mainstream hits.
  6. The loving attention to historical detail comes at a cost of a truly arcane complexity level and rather plodding pace. However, in the right mindset, both quirks can be wonderful things, especially when the complexity also reveals just how deep and varied the mechanics can be.
  7. We were amazed at how much time the game swallowed, meaning time was flying, meaning, well, we all know what that means.

Even for the niche-y, nerdo ranks of no-frills strategy titles, Iron Triangle is not for the weak. [Apr 2009, p.85]

i thought this game was great you dont have to go with the whole historical aspect of the game and the gameplay is deeply involving you have i thought this game was great you dont have to go with the whole historical aspect of the game and the gameplay is deeply involving you have to take control of everyhting from diplomacy to technology to military hence the iron triangle. and when your attacking a castle when holding of 4 other clans it is really exciting the graphics arent the greatest but they focus more on strategy and control than a beautiful front also the unifacation alone could take a month to complete and it was fun and challenging the whole way through theres more than just building immense amount of troops and sending them to burn cities to the ground the ai is actually quite intelligent not seen in many rts games ive played if you get to big and have no allies they will all team against you and you had better be prepard they dont just mindlesly attack they find your weak spots and advance in enemy lines its great to play an actually challenging game of skill you woory about snow storms and floods and plagues and you hire officers for your armies and towns and have to treat them well as in pay raises or if you want to be a tyrant you can cut there heads off haha this game has so much to offer if you are looking for an actual strategy game not just building an army of thousands and sending them mindlessly to war then definetly pick this one up if you just want a beautiful action packed war game you might want to skip it but this game is definetly worht buying youll play it for months.
