    The gameplay is leaps and bounds ahead of the game's graphical prowess, but then, that's probably not saying too much, now is it?

    Quite the insult to PS2 hockey fans. It's certainly not as good as NHL 2001, and that wasn't a great game..Poor 989 seems to be falling even further behind with old injuries and rusty skates. Someone definitely needs to check these guys.

    Don't waste your time with this game. Go out and rent "NHL 93" for the genesis you can probably have a better time playing it. Graphics Don't waste your time with this game.
