JohnD.Feb 22, 2004Lots of fun for a casual play, but as you play the ladders and get near the top ladders, as someone else mentioned, the computer "AI", or cheat level, get to be a bit much to bear. Someone else mentioned that the playbooks are not complex enough -- this is not meant to be a football simulation. If realism is what you're after, give Madden or ESPN Football a try.

#57 Most Discussed PS2 Game of 2004
|
-
Computer Games MagazineThe gameplay is far too unbalanced, making for simple wins and an experience that gets old quickly. Still, fans of the old "NFL Blitz" games or "NBA Street" won't be disappointed. [May 2004, p.12]
-
The graphics in NFL Street look good with a slight edge going to the Xbox version of the game. The Xbox version looks smoother and cleaner while the PS2 version looks a little rough around the edges.
-
TotalGames.netThe real weakness of NFL Street, however, is the same criticism levelled at Madden just a few months ago - that completing a pass or finding a run through the defence is too arbitrary to judge.
