The gameplay is incredibly unbalanced, the graphics are dated, and, most importantly, the game fails to capture the essence of the college football experience.
-
This game is best for those who want to play a blowout game and not think about defense ever. This is a good-looking game, and is fun to play, but purists should look elsewhere.
-
Marred by a poor representation of the scrambling and running game and just no[t] as personable as EA's collegiate masterpiece.
-
Too bad the flawed AI of the CPU opposition, choppy graphics and lack of customization keep it far below the excellence of EA's and Sega's PS2 college games.
-
The lack of any real college atmosphere leaves you wondering whether or not you are even playing a college football game. The unbalanced controls and strategies do a lot of harm as well.

PSM MagazineIt pales in comparison with "NCAA Football 2003." [Oct 2002, p.40]
-
This thing is too easy to run against. I usually get a average of 7 yards on my running plays in this game.
-
A bit too much like its NFL brother, this game does little to simulate the college experience.
