    I don't always enjoy racing games that much. They're mostly the same thing over and over again. Sometimes there's a challenge, sometimes there isn't. But this game is fun as hell. Even the story is fun. Racing games shoudl be like this.

    What an incredibly fun game this still is. I have completed 100% of mc3de. I have remix as well,. This game was the best street racing game money could buy back in the day. Even better than nfs underground. The cars look amazing. The graphics were top notch for ps2 hardware. The soundtrack was catchy and fit perfectly with the atmosphere of the street racing seen.     Na minha leiga opinião é o melhor jogo de corrida de todos os tempos. Tudo bem que eu não joguei muitos jogos de corrida, mas ainda assim ouso dizer isso. Enfim, a Rockstar sendo a Rockstar.

    As much as it's a difficult game, I love midnight 3, its soundtrack is amazing and its car customization is great! as hard as it is I love this game especially in Tokyo or Detroit

    Pas trop vilain (en étant indulgent) mais tellement arcade et bas du fion que le plus mauvais des Need For Speed passe pour une simulation et un sommet du bon goût ! c'est dire l'étendue des dégâts de ce jeu à jajas et jeunes kévins. On roulera dessus avec un Heummeur pour golri.

    Without a doubt the best racing game I have ever played. The customization levels in this game are crazy, pretty much anything and everything can be customized. Furthermore the game play was good and the controls were easy to get use to. The graphics of it's time were epic. Everything about the story line was interesting.     I am highly disappointed in Rockstar's version of a racing game. I found this game years ago and recently decided to play it. The cheats are lousy and clustered up to be nothing more than 'Silly Cheats' that are rendered useless to the player. Rockstar had a great Rep with the gta's over the years as I thought I would find in this game. I finally won the Lamborghini but let down afterI am highly disappointed in Rockstar's version of a racing game. I found this game years ago and recently decided to play it. The cheats are lousy and clustered up to be nothing more than 'Silly Cheats' that are rendered useless to the player. Rockstar had a great Rep with the gta's over the years as I thought I would find in this game. I finally won the Lamborghini but let down after discovering it was still the same game and no higher nos count on hud meter after that and no focus control. I found myself really winning at nothing and the most frustrating part was when it rains or snows, losing traction ,then having to go over and play other story modes to get out of rain or snow mode until I fell back into my comfort zone. Several attempts to make number one wins at finish line until comfortable with course. Lousy set up menus and options list. Limited options for car parts in garage, even after you've won millions and have the best car. This game may be fun for some but I found it too daunting and contentious. Too nerve racking in the negative sense and just plain boring after a while. If I want to sweat that hard I'll go to the gym… Expand

    Absolutely love this game. It gets so deep under your skin. My brother and i rwcently rediscovered it after years and we practically bought an original xbox just to play it agan. The cars are gorgeous, the races fast and fun. Nothing gives you a sense of speed and consequence quite like this. His was so far ahead of its time, and one of the most enjoyable racers you're likely to play

    This game made my chilhood. Плохо знаю Английский, так что больше первого предложения написать не смогу. Вообщем, мне очень жаль что Рокстаровцы не смогли сделать достойное продолжение этой игре... Игра очень хороша, для 2005 года думаю графика терпимая, к тому же в ней гораздо больше запчастей для тюнинга, нежели в той же НФС.This game made my chilhood.     The game is incredible, has a lot of Customization, Races and Cars and the 3 maps are kinda big but there is a lot of traffic, making the city alive. It's very fun and challenging, but sometimes can get really stressful.

    O nível de costumização é incrível, o tamanho do mapa e o fato de não ser apenas um é importante, soundtracks incríveis, aliás tem uma das minhas favoritas, que é a da tela inicial: "real big" gosto muito das corridas imersívas, mas só acho que faltou mais história

    Best racing game on Playstation 2. So many options to upgrade and trick out your rides. The career is very challenging but it is rewarding.. The game looks good even now. The color shift and pearlescent paint jobs look awesome. An instant classic better than Need for speed.

    If you ever wanted to know what garbage played like then you should definitely try this piece of trash out. Major blessings to everyone that reads this rant until the end:

    The worst case of rubberband AI? Check. I also love what I call the surprise nitro. Well surprise nitro is basically when the enemies already used nitro like 20 times while you're only allowed 2-3 or if you're driving    If you ever wanted to know what garbage played like then you should definitely try this piece of trash out.     The worst case of rubberband AI? Check. I also love what I call the surprise nitro. Well surprise nitro is basically when the enemies already used nitro like 20 times while you're only allowed 2-3 or if you're driving behind an enemy, you can charge up your nitro for a free use, you're currently on the first spot right in front of the finish line and then the enemy uses nitro AGAIN to steal the victory, making you repeat some of the worst courses in racing game history.

    Talking about the AI and unfairness of it. Imagine this: you're driving a course in a city filled up with traffic to the brim, being the human that you are, you will inadvertently crash into some traffic cars from time to time. The enemy? Well they're basically the Michael Schumachers of street racing. 0 errors whatsoever, they will slow down whenever you're last, just to give you the illusion of a winning chance but other than that, they drive flawlessly. Every lane is filled up with multiple cars due to traffic? Perfectly dodged. A bus or a truck riding through a crossing and blocking off your path? Perfectly dodged.

    Speaking about the traffic. You're gonna love it. Whenever you're driving in a lane, out of f*cking nowhere a car decides to turn into exactly that lane and make you crash.
    You wanna drift around the corner? Well 9 times out of 10 there's gonna be some car or truck awaiting you, just for you to crash in
    Oh you're first and driving through a crossing? Surprise bus that appears at the perfect time just for you and decides to block off the ENTIRE street, just for you to crash

    Cops: Now this might be the biggest bs of the game. So the premise is that the game is about street racing, right? And street racing involves multiple contenders, roundabout 6-8, right? Well not to the cops. They will blatantly ignore any of your enemies and ONLY chase and crash into you. You have no idea how much these POS caused me a race because they either try to slam you, block off a corner or drive in front of you, so you get slowed down. Whoever made the AI for them - I hope you burn in hell.

    Respawning: This is the most amazing part of the game. So if you're ever crashing into a building or a getting flipped over, guess where the game respawns you? No, not on the street, that would actually make this a good game ike NFS Underground. No, no, no, this game respawns you right at the f*cking wall of the building. So from there you need to reverse and THEN get back in the lane. It makes you lose a couple of valuable seconds, so have fun catching up to the best AI in existence

    Story: There is none. You get a couple of cutscenes with the most cliched characters ever. A mechanic mexican whose every second word is ese? Check.

    Music: Man out of all the good hip hop tracks that you could've put in, Rockstar puts in some of the biggest garbage songs of all time, including artists that never stood the test of time when you'll hear the songs, you'll know why. The only question that always accompanies me while listening to the music is: Who on god's green earth thought to themself, Man this is some really good music to be street racing to ?!?! How can games like Need for Speed Underground/ Most Wanted or Burnout 3 hit the note perfectly (pun intended) but this game just flat out butchers it.

    In conclusion: Do yourself a favor, save your nerves and stay the f away from this steamin' pile of garbage that reeks of the most disgusting trash you've ever touched.

    To Rockstar: I'm so glad this franchise is dead.    … Expand

    This game is one of the best racing games of 2005, and it has remained one of the best racing games for many years. Its arcade style racing mixes perfectly with the customization/tuning.
    I could spend all day customizing one of the old muscle cars, it is one of the best customization systems i have seen ever!

    OK it is the best illigal racing game it has many cool cars the 5 best ones are gallardo, 300c, ext,c series and the viper but customize is so cool but expensive.

    Absolutely amazing, the car customization options are ridiculus and you'll be playing for months on end. A treat and alot better than (cough nfsu 2) many other games of its kind.

    Better Graphics, Better Music. Definitely 100% better than Need For Speed 2. You have more car selection, and you actually personalize it to your standards and not the games. If you thought Need For Speed was an addictive game. . . You've seen nothing yet! This is awesome!

    Its more underground than NFS and packs more gritty street driving action. The rush you get from the blur effect works wonders to give you a sense of speed.

    Brilliant game, endless customisation and open-ended career. I love it because atleat it doesn't pretend to be a simulator like NFSU & NFSMW. I don't understand how they can call them that.

What turned me off about this game is that it lacks everything GT4 has: realistic handling and tuning; MC3 is SO FAKE!! Also, the random-yet-scripted traffic will annoy you after you're trying to beat a race for the 20th time. Someone needs to make a Very arcade. Everything was designed to keep this game fast-paced and fun. The challenge gets so hard at times it's ridiculous. What turned me off about this game is that it lacks everything GT4 has: realistic handling and tuning; MC3 is SO FAKE!! Also, the random-yet-scripted traffic will annoy you after you're trying to beat a race for the 20th time. Someone needs to make a successful blend of the best elements of MC3 and GT: Realistic handling & tuning mixed with free-roaming street racing. NO ONE'S EVER DONE THAT WELL!!     An absolute hoot of a game. Forget the NFS:U series - this is PS2 gaming at its best. 3 Huge cities, masses of cars and even more customisation options. If you love arcade racing - then this is the pinacle.

    This game is amazing. It has a very long career mode, licensed cars, a very good soundtrack(and I really don't even like rap) and it is just as fun as the other Midnight Club games to play. Pikc this up and not NFSU 2!

    I know its a little late to be writing a review of a nearly 2 year game, but I HAVE to express my feelings about this game. Point Blank, regardless of what system, if u don't have this game, you will never know how intense, engrossing, all-out spectacularly addictive games can get. In this case, they are San Diego, Atlanta and Detroit. But unlike the open-world metropolis of "Underground 2", these urban centers are not just mainly for show. They are filled with hidden areas,Midnight Club III is the best entry in the series. It added licensed cars and extensive customization to its brand of street racing. Like the previous game, MC III features three cities. In this case, they are San Diego, Atlanta and Detroit. But unlike the open-world metropolis of "Underground 2", these urban centers are not just mainly for show. They are filled with hidden areas, alternate paths and jump ramps. The cities are big and fun to explore just like the ones featured in the Grand Theft Auto games. In addition to the story mode, MC III also includes a race editor and tons of multiplayer modes.     Really Amazing game! It made my childhood. The graphics are good for its time, the songs are VERY good, one of the best soundtracks ever, and have many cars in this game. Anyway, very good game.

    Yani Most Wanted'dan daha iyi bir oyun varsa, oda budur herhalde. Yıllar önce oynamıştım, aklımda bir efsane olarak kalmış. Yıllar sonra bakınca Rockstar'ın yaptığını gördüm.

    Probably the only car racing game I liked as a kid. Tons of fun, very easy, visually outstanding, amazing music... Just incredible.
