Feb 21, 2018This game had many critics for a specific character that we all know, but at no time was the creator's bad idea, on the contrary, a success that was rewarded over the years. Very charismatic characters and a careful history from beginning to end, what we had to expect from a saga like metal gear.

Mar 22, 2018A great game with smooth gameplay. The only downside is having to play with cartwheel heavy Raiden.

Jun 18, 2018A post modern art piece in the form of a game, MGS2 pushed the boundaries of what gaming could be

Feb 23, 2019Alright now I don't think this game is bad and its better than I give it credit for but I just think its okay. Much like its predecessor the games plot and themes are interesting to talk about but also like the first game and even more so than the first the game play is hindered and underwhelming in comparison> Also the bosses kinda suck except for the last one he was pretty cool.

Nov 15, 2018Legendary game, play it, this game changed my life for good, all I have for this game is LOVE.

Jan 8, 2019One of the most anticipated games of PS2 but it's not as good as its predecessor on the original PlayStation. Raiden had not enough charisma to be the main character and the Big Shell location was very limited

Feb 19, 2019One of the PS2's hits. MGS 2 makes it easy to see why.
Satisfying Gameplay combined with a deep and story, makes it all the more enjoyable, though MGS 3 and MGS 4 outclass it by miles -

Oct 25, 2020It is a good game with a complicated and mature plot but the camera is so frustrating, maybe a little zoom out to see more than raiden's hair

May 5, 2020Not my favourite in the series but still ahead of its time story and gameplay wise!

Feb 10, 2020Usually enjoyable when you adapt the controls with good story but way too many glitches with weird gameplay mechanics.
Some of the bosses are extremely stretched out and have some undodgeable attacks as well -
Jan 23, 2020If Metal Gear Solid 1 is a balanced, fine-tuned masterpiece, than Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty is a twisted, weird experience delivering the promise of a proper follow-up that exceeds hopes, expectations, and beyond. The plot thickens.

Mar 31, 2020Not counting the hype and controversy surrounding MGS 2, it accomplishes what it sets out to do well. The gameplay is great and characters are iconic. The level design is a bit restrictive in this entry though which just holds it back.
-
Mar 15, 2020One of the best experiences of the video game history. Hideo Kojima put the philosophy of the existence in a visual apreciation mixed with the meaning of good and evil.
-
Mar 25, 2020Honestly, though, you have been reading reviews for a long time. Don't you have anything else to do with your time?

The environments are amazing, when on the deck of the tank the rain effects are extremely lifelike, along with rain drops hitting the ship and characters.
-
As stunning and enjoyable as ever. You may feel foolish gripping the controller throughout a 40-minute cut scene, but MGS2 is something which must be experienced.
-
MGS2 suffers in its story. I can't spoil it for you, but I can at least warn you to be prepared for a plot that frequently reaches levels of sheer absurdity.
