This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The commentary is completely off. For example, I hit a ground ball to first base, and Gary Thorne will say "There's a deep drive, way back to straight away center field..." and stuff like that. I don't think a single play has been called correctly actually. And, I have a franchise with the Orioles, and the roster is pretty much from 2010 or before. For example, Jason Berken is still considered a starting pitcher, and he hasn't pitched for the O's since 2009.

I have MLB The Show 2011, and personally I think the graphics are much better and the gameplay is much better. The players' faces in 2K12 are terrible, and none of them look anything like the actual player.

I would recommend playing it, but after a few games it just gets frustrating what with the commentary and the graphics. I would say that MLB The Show 2011 is muuuuuch better of a game for die-hard baseball fans.
