Justice League Heroes may offer teams of two instead of teams of four when you play, but its superior two-player dynamic and far superior story make Justice League Heroes more fun than "Marvel Ultimate Alliance," despite the eye-candy edge held by Activision’s title.

If you’re a fan of the genre and you’ve got a friend who wants in on it too, then I really can’t think of any good reason not to grab this one immediately and dive into it.

The environments are beautiful and highly detailed, also are the destructible elements like the vehicles, trees and newspaper stands.

Heroes is a relatively simple game that, at times, feels like "X-Men Legends" with DC character models. Still, the chance to take control of some of the most beloved superheroes on the planet is one that you just can't pass up.

With a great cast of characters, tons of unlockables, and a solid single-player campaign JLH is worth picking up for fans of the comics. Casual gamers looking for more bang for their buck may want to wait to get their hands on "Marvel Ultimate Alliance."

The most disappointing aspect of JLH is simply being forced to play as heroes you might not necessarily want to play as. I don’t see any reason why the levels couldn’t have been designed a little more creatively to allow for any combination of heroes.
