    Pretty standard fare as far as the automotive genre is concerned. It certainly gives the experience of a driver on a Hot Import Nights circuit, and that's a good thing. However it fails to bring anything really new or revolutionary to the table, and that's where this title comes up short.

    Where this games shines best, is the car handling, which I prefer even over the games of the Need for Speed series. The handling is easy to learn, the drifting works fine and is easibly controllable and all has a touch of simulation, even though it is a straight arcade style game. But compared to other arcade style racing games, like Outrun 2006 or the Ridge Racer series, drifting is much less extreme. And compared to NFS Underground 1/2 or Hot Pursuit it feels more responsive and more real-world. At the courves bear three challenges: don't enter too fast, at the right moment and handle the grip or drift. This makes driving to be quite fun. The races are done in a lot of different modes and also the drift mode is a lot of fun. I appreciate a lot that the races don't start too difficult - compared to NFS for example. Even though for me the whole setting - half-naked models, tough guy racers and the tuning - is just trash and doesn't appeal at all, the game is surprisingly much fun. A pity that the tracks scenary doesn't differ a lot and everything is allways at night, because I prefer daytime races in an beautiful landscape. But I like that the tuning is more sold as pack and you don't have to tune every single little item seperately. And I like the idea to have to unlock every singe tuning pack. This is one of these racing games, you spend a lot of time enjoying the game.… Expand

Against the other console 360/PS3 Juiced 2 lacks several features the big one is that there is NO online multiplayer on the PS2 along with less car mods and poor modding efforts ie: little user interaction you simply buy "mod packs". However multiplayer is great and the races are fun and the large selection for cars keep the game alive.… Expand

    This is the worst and pathetic game I ever played for the PS2. I don't know where start to explain how bad is, first of all the graphics This is the worst and pathetic game I ever played for the PS2. I don't know where start to explain how bad is, first of all the graphics are most like for PS1, not even for make shadow to games like Need For Speed Underground. The music, one of the most important points in this kind of game is totally awful, you can listen the same track almost six times and always very repetitive. The cars models are just nice, but the tunning options are very limited, one more time Need For Speed wins for very far. About the race tracks are too bad, just a few tracks and thats all. To finish this and understand why you need to pass for this game is to see how the stars and the night in the scenarios are represented, its like a paint in the background maded by childrens, not to mention that cars like more toys that real cars. A waste of time, i can't understand what is thinking THQ.… Expand

    Juiced 2 is a PS2 street racing video game. You can choose your car and your track and race against people. It is fun and entertaining and could have you hooked. The only thing is that it takes forever to load into the game and to your track.

    I got the game when I got the PS2 from my dad. I first tried it out with my sister and it was a pretty cool game. We were addicted the whole summer. We didn't like the fact that the game takes forever to load. But besides that fact we liked because you can pick out your track and make and choose your own car.

    You can also be in different countries. There are different routes you can take too while racing and some of them lead to ramps you can go up and fly off of and be on top of buildings. When you go over the speed limit there will be lots of cops. You can hit them and run into them, but if they stop you it's game over.

    The game has a pretty good system and it looks very realistic. They did a good job animating the video game and to make it seem like you're actually there.

    This game is really good and if you like racing and choosing your own things this game is for you. It will get you addicted for sure. I rate this game 4 out of 5 stars.    … Expand
