    My name is Joe too but the other joe is a FREAKING PIECE OF ------ I bet his brain is smaller than a ----- and a ---I love this game! HI admit it IS a bit annoying with malazak but still Its fun!

    Beautifully underrated game. It's actually a remake of King's Bounty for DOS.
    It's very faithful and succeeds in every way.

    Mal foutu, un portage de la célèbre licence à la va-vite sur PS2. Très vilain et trop simpliste, voilà qui ne va pas réconcilier la console avec le tour par tour : tout y est incroyablement bâclé et peu reluisant comme une vieille poubelle qu'on a pas vidée depuis 3 semaines. Baltringues de héros !

    This game is an exact port of "Kings Bounty" from the early days of the Sega Genesis. The graphics are updated, but it is exactly the same.

    The graphics are lame, the gameplay is worse, and there are no cheats or codes(that i know of)to make this bad game even alitle bit better. The cheats would turn this 3 game into maybe a 5. If anyone doe's have cheas/codes please email me at caijaanen@aol.com. [Ed: ---->See right column]

    Not much of an RPG... Dusnt make much difference which starting character you use except for a change in difficulty, and if different villains used different tactics in battle there would have been some nicer variety, but it's basically just a hack and slash.

    Quest for the Dragonbone staff has NOTHING to do with Heroes of Might and Magic. It's a remake of a predessor to the Heroes series. Before Heroes appeared in 1995, there was something else. In 1992, the game "Kings Bounty" was released for the Amiga, the PC and several consoles. Back then it was addictive, exciting and entertaining. The concept and formula worked well back then, and Quest for the Dragonbone staff has NOTHING to do with Heroes of Might and Magic. It's a remake of a predessor to the Heroes series. Before Heroes appeared in 1995, there was something else. In 1992, the game "Kings Bounty" was released for the Amiga, the PC and several consoles. Back then it was addictive, exciting and entertaining. The concept and formula worked well back then, and 10 years later it still works. The remake of Kings Bounty is priced low, and though the graphics are only average compared to other PS2 titles, it brings completely new life to the game, that wasn't included back in the early 90'ies. Priced considerably lower than other PS2 titles, this game is definitely worth it's price. Compared to today's games, it might seem too simple. But that doesn't matter, when the game works soo well. The only thing I miss would be some sort of a cutscene when confronting each villian. Also, they should have appeared on the battlefield performing sorcery.… Expand

    This game is the biggest waste of money ever. Its incredibly simple with nothing going for it. Plus, it is an EXACT replica of the game 'Kings Bounty' released in the 80's, with passably better graphics.

    Sorta Hard, better graphics then on the PC, not as good storyline. Its got a more animation problems then the ones on PC but its still fun.

    This is the EXACT same game that I played in the '80s, with graphics from the '90s. On my PS2!!! 'Nuff said.

    Fans of the earlier Heroes Of Might & Magic PC games, however, will be shocked at how dumbed-down their beloved strategy game has become on the PS2.

    No longer 2D or turn-based, HOMAM on the PS2 isn't as deep as might be expected, but it's fast, easy to learn and the battles are incredibly fun.

    The graphics are not jaw dropping, but as is the case with most strategy games, this really doesn't matter. In the end, it's the quality of the gameplay that counts.
