JacoE.Mar 1, 2003The best f1 game on any console yet!

AndyManMar 18, 2003Don't believe Gamestyle's review for a second. GPC is far superior to any F1 game in the most important area: the gameplay. The graphics are also outstanding and the framerate is pure 60fps. It's a great game all around.

PaulC.Jul 18, 2003This really is the best F1 game on consoles! This beats those EA and Sony games 6-0.Graphics, playability, steering and atmospheme are best you can get...10/10.

ChristopherS.Oct 5, 2007A real gem and arguably the best F1 game ever released to a console. It was a shame Melbourne House never got the chance to develop a follow up and an even greater shame that this was the last F1 game released in North America.

[Anonymous]Apr 26, 2003Great game, and at the $30 price a ten, especially compared to other f1 games that sell for $50 (one of which I trade in to buy GPC). When details like a sedan parked next to fence (at San Marino) are rended even though it is only seen in a race replay, you know Infogames did their homework. Oh, and it is tons of fun too.

JimU.Aug 19, 2003The best modern day F1 sim yet - - GPL is still king but its great to run a racing sim with modern F1 cars on the current circuits.

Awards & Rankings
-
It can be set up to play like an off-the-cuff, arcade-style racing game or can be adjusted by varying degrees to simulate the actual physics and handling of an unforgiving F1 racing vehicle.
-
The experience was so bland, uninspired and lacking that high feeling of drama and action that surround F1.
-
It's unquestionably the best F1 console game on the PlayStation 2. In fact, I'll go one step further: It's the best F1 console game ever.
