OH LORD.. THAT'S ABSOLUTELY THE MOST FKIN IDIOT CRIMINAL REVIEW IN HISTORY THAT I'VE EVER KNOWN.. Dude I already finished the game like 4 times,, and i NEVER get tired of this game, im estatic for every second in this game, such a complexity, inovative and a very very fun game. The combat system is the most i love, the atmosphere, the mini game, the girls, the challenge, the story.. oh man I WISH there is a sequel on this MASTERPIECE.     Divisive game. I don't like it but I see what it's going for. Play it for 30 minutes and if you like it you'll keep liking it and if you don't that won't change.

    The combat is brutal but dying has no punishment except going to last checkpoint so whatever, moves have stats but they don't matter, pick whatever you like best. There's hidden moves to use so google how thise work those to chew    Divisive game. I don't like it but I see what it's going for. The difficulty system adapting to you is fun but really stupid in practice, the enemies get new moves.and flatten you with them and back down you go. Enemies are the same all the way through really, some differences sonetimes but not really. Tall guys, short mooks, fat heavies then dominatrixes. Demons are another breed but again, about 3 types you'll see rarely. Group fighting is crap, spam sweep/rohndhouse to fish for counterhits to launch.

    Again, if you love the game from minute one you'll love it, if you bounce off it you'll not rebound.

    On a personal note I never found it "fair" or "unfair" just poorly presented. Maybe if I'd played it back then I'd enjoy it more.    … Expand

    This game is pure joy, badassery and awesomeness. Hope there's a remaster or a remake that stays to the original game in the near future. 10/10, would recommend.

    I never knew the joys of beating someone to a pulp with an umbrella until I played this game. The best beat em up I have ever played. I have played this game 5 times now and I still can't stop.

    The best fighting game I've ever played, years ahead of it's time, the smoothness, fluidity of combat, the animation and the humor all are just brilliant.

    Shame on IGN for killing this game, nothing good as this has yet to be released.

    This game is never meant to be taken seriously. It's genuinely funny but doesn't come off as a joke. It's fun with its quirky but intuitive combat system. Not for the easily offended though. The game is a must play with a kicking soundtrack and addictive game play.

    Great game for the character Gene, roulette wheel, mini games, combat, God hand, fun characters you come across. The bad is tank controls, bad camera, God hand doesn't heal you when you activate it but only makes you invincible. The pros out weigh the cons and it's a must buy! The gameplay is so much fun Lucky Clover says buy and you should.

    Jogo fantástico, avaliação da crítica é uma piada, devo ter jogado esse jogo umas 50 vezes sem ter enjoado uma sequer vez, pq o jogo proporciona essa possibilidade, como a variedade incrível de golpes, mas tem avaliador q não consegue passar da primeira fase e coloca a culpa no game, lamentável.

    The sound is truly what sets it apart from the rest. From the crazy background sounds you get after some Techniques, to the insanely hilarious dialogue you get in cutscenes, the sound is what kept me going until the end. [JPN Import]
