    The feeling of speed in Formula One 2001 really gives you a thrilling ride. This coupled with the excellent AI, great handling, the latest F1 data and faultless presentation push it streets ahead of the competition.

    Arcade racers will be quite challenged by the difficulties of true F1 racing, and may run crying back to the muscle cars in GT3 out of frustration. However, if you already know what F1 racing is all about, then you can expect a well-crafted racing experience.

    Aside from not producing the kinds of graphics that you’d normally see out of a PS2, Formula One 2001 also has a lackluster interface, unconvincing physics and damage engine, and a shortage of good audio effects.
