    The two drawbacks were the game was too short and it was relatively easy. But the sound effects and music was great and was more than fun enough to keep me glued to the set. Anyone who loves "Resident Evil" will love this game.

    Why complain the controls. Its new and very good. The whole game is fun straight through.

    I think this game is freakin awesome. I love the marine corps and that gave the game a huge boost. Great job to the creators.

    I thought this game was really good. The controls are straight forward and easy to use. The interface is really user friendly. I love all the creatures (love to blow them apart) The music really adds to the suspence of the game. I would agree though that the game is still a little short and could be a little longer with more twists and unexpected turns. All in all, I would recommend this I thought this game was really good.     I think this game is shallow and padantic, lacks in free movement and to be honest it isn't the most easy game. BTW if anyone feels like giving me a helping hand in the game they're always welcome.

    This game sucks Bigtime. I don't understand How there's pleople who actually likes it. Is there really a person out there who thinks this game squeezes the power out of the ps2? That it's at least comparable to metal gear? That it's worth the same 49.99 bucks that games like metal gear solid or devil may cry are?     Same as one of you guys said the games is alright and all but it ends quick and in the movie seens there talking donsent macht there lip posistion and the camra angles suck unless you have money to wast dont by it i have the japanese version you use a diffrent character with black only good thing about the game not even scary the enemys are anouying and to many glitchs in the game.

    where is number 2? I want #2! This game is great and is a perfect competitor to resident evil with ALOT of opertunity and potential. A great story, cast and more. Very scary, sad and memorial story. Please sony, rerelease it on PS3 in HD or make a sequel for fans. Many fans are out there for this game...

    The PS2 was the Peek of survival horror. All the best Horror was there series complete , Sillent Hill, Fatal Frame, Resident evil. Extermination isnt the best, but its yp there.

    Como juego de supervivencia cumple bastante bien su cometido, además de resultar variado. Tal vez la historia no sea la más original, pero tampoco lo pretende.

    Just painfully average. Annoying game mechanics. Even more annoying enemies. Combat is weak and controls are awful. Many times when you take damage, it's because the gameplay is so poorly thought out. Voice acting is also the worst I've heard and it seems broken at times. Like there are parts cut out and it sounds like some dialogue lines are slowed down or something. Weird.

    It does still have the classic survival horror structure mostly. And the secret research facility in big trouble type story straight from the 90s/early 2000s. Just keep in mind that this is not among the best survival horror games from the era. If you can suppress your subconsciousness telling you how much of a chore this game ends up becoming then go ahead and give it a try.

    It's unoriginal and very short (I was able to complete it in a couple of days without really trying to beat it), but a gas while it lasts and home to some of the nicest-looking and best-renderd FMV cinemas your puny little eyes have ever seen.

    It never quite comes together in as compelling a fashion as others of its class. It's far from being poor and is certainly entertaining at times--it just lacks the originality and extra level of polish needed to provide a truly memorable gaming experience.
