Play MagazineEureka Seven is a tasty side dish, but it doesn't satisfy as a meal. [Oct. 2006, p.59]
-
Clearly the license in which it is derived from is a complex and engaging one, but maybe there was just too much bitten off here.
-
Game InformerEureka Seven could have been decent if the LFOs didn't feel like they were slliding on thin ice, or the lifting delivered any sensation of speed or excitement. [Oct. 2006, p.100]

Official U.S. Playstation MagazineSadly, great robots aren't enough to salvage this game. [Oct. 2006, p.83]
-
It’s got a long way to go, and I haven’t even ragged on the fact that there are no multi-player modes. I may not be so nice when it comes to Volume 2. Average. At best.
