Although NBA 2Night shows potential as the first game in Konami's new basketball series, it doesn't excel in any specific category and thus finds itself a step behind EA's "NBA Live" series.
-
Based on expectations there's more fun to be had in Konami's shiny and pretty new virtual b-ball court than EA's.
-
It certainly doesnt take top ranking for hoop games on the PS2, but it has a lot of nice features to offer.
-
If not for the problems with the passing, steals, shooting and rebounding (sounds like all the key parts of basketball), this could've been a really good game.
-
The second-best simulation basketball game for the PS2, but it's a far cry from "NBA Live 2001."
-
Daily RadarPlain, cold and uninspired, ESPN NBA 2Night has all the grit and soul of an Egg McMuffin.
-
There's not a lot of depth and it might grow tiresome
